Sky Kitchen is an immaculately cleaned facility with a beautiful view and friendly staff. The recipes were great and it was one of the highlights of our time in Lima.

The whole experience and the information provided was top notch! Highly recommend this! The location was stunning and the food was incredible. Although we are traveling on a budget, this was totally worth the splurge!

“Super fun day”
Reviewed February 1, 2014

I did the market tour and dinner dishes on my last day in Lima and it was a fantastic way to end my stay. Christian took us through the market, showing us different fruits/vegetables. He was very knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions. Back at the apartment we tasted a number of different fruits. Then, Yurac took us through the dinner dishes, where we all did a little bit of cooking/preparation and a lot of eating, which was great fun. The food was delicious and the portions were huge, so come hungry! I loved learning about Peruvian food, as it's a very unique cuisine and I look forward to trying out the recipes at home. If you have an interest in food and cooking, then I'd highly recommend SkyKitchen.

“Great opportunity to learn more about Peru”
Reviewed January 18, 2014

We have known Christian from when he was living in Germany and took the opportunity to meet again when we were traveling Peru. We were amazed by his knowledge of not only Peruvian cuisine, but also Peruvian culture, history and other background info on how food is grown and prepared. The market tour and cooking class gave us great insight into Peruvian eating culture and were also a lot of fun. Highly recommended!

“Great way to learn about Peruvian Cuisine & Culture”
Reviewed January 1, 2014

Top notch program! We joined Christian for a market tour - incredibly fascinating to learn that out of the 34 world climates, Peru has 28 of them. So a huge variety of food can be found in the local market. After our visit, we were able to sample more fruits than I can count, including 6 kinds of bananas. All delicious. Following our fruit sampling, the cooking class began. We made cebiche, Papa a la Huancaina, & Aji de Gallina. All delicious and fun to make (our efforts were rather minimal, but enough to keep us busy and involved in the process). The kitchen is gorgeous - modern & spacious with beautiful orchids lining the wall. This was a highlight of our visit to Peru.
