Despite arriving very early in the morning on a holiday, we checked in and got to bed with minimum difficulty. Spent a couple of days here and it was a great headquarters for checking out Lima. Franceso and Carmen (we mostly interacted with Carmen, despite her being very pregnant) were very helpful and were kind in explaining how to use the bus.

Our room was clean and pretty quiet (it was on the main floor) but with nice light. The location is great -- maybe a five minute walk to the ocean cliffs and about 15 minutes to Miraflores. The shared bathroom was especially nice for Peru -- I'm sure breakfast was good, but I only had the coffee most mornings.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and we had a great expereince. We got the private room with bathroom and fet very comfortable. The place is decorated beautifully and the people that come in and out are very interesting,There we a lot of people that were returning. Carmen and her husband are very hospitable and make and excellent breakfast in the morning. I highly reccomemed. Plus Barranco is one of the better area to visit in Lima! Great restaurants can be found around.

Carmen and Francisco are now our adopted Peruvian hijos, except they have real parents living, loving and helping them with transport. So, just joking. But they were very good to us when we popped through their welcoming BnB. Their rooms are pleasant, uncluttered yet useful, the bathroom is kept clean and the kitchen is the heart of the lodging. Both give excellent advice for travel plans and walking tours through the centre of Lima. We would have stayed again but chose to visit Islas Ballestas for its poor man's galapagos promise. Best wishes to the family and enjoy the future days and changes ahead.

It is true what the past reviews have said, the owners (Carmen & Francesco) are young, fun and warm hostesses that provide a comfortable environment to stay for exploring Lima. I stayed here for 8 days and couldn't have chosen a better place. Barranco is a funky suburbs of Lima that is full of life at night, while a short taxi or bus ride from Miraflores for day time fun. The B&B is just a couple blocks from the Metropolitano (bus rapid transit) that can zip you to Central Lima in about 30 minutes for under $1 each trip, but you have to buy a smart card first about $2 to load soles for travels.

Francesco & Carmen speak English and are always there for suggestions or help. The breakfast each morning greets you with wonderful fruit, juice/coffee/tea, cereal, breads, and jams. There are no TVs, which is great so that you interact with the friendly and varied guests that come and go. And then there is Pacq'u the house dog, a Peruvian hairless dog full of spirit.

Thanks Carmen and Francesco for a wonderful stay.

We had an excellent stay. The owners was the best part but also the interior of the kitchen and the livingroom had a very naice energy and atmosphere. Our room was quiet and very delicate decorated. The breakfast was the best that we ever had at a B&B.
