I love this place. It is a bit expensive, but service and food are worth it. The steamed bread sandwiches are amazing. We enjoyed a very varied meal.

“Food Porn”
Reviewed October 13, 2013 via mobile

This is a foodie's dream. The ultimate in submission dining. Although we didn't have reservations for the 10-16 course tasting we were able to order a 10 course surprise that chef did on the fly. The manager or host or maître d' Carlos was very accommodating. He graciously offered a tasting menu for us to enjoy. The food was remarkable as was the service. I've eaten all over the world and this meal was one for the ages. A little expensive. $300 US but that included a bottle of Moët Chandon Nectar and 2 rounds of cocktails. Expertly prepared food by a true artist. Chef came to the table and visited for a few minutes. We really love being surprised with food and they do it right. Simply incredible. Do yourself a favor when in Lima and go there!!!

“Maybe the sushi would have been a better choice at this place?”
Reviewed October 8, 2013

I would never order the Udon (Miso soup) or the shrimp hot pot dish, both were so bland and boring, nothing special at all. The cucumber salad was soaked in some soy-based sauce and would have been better in a rice wine vinegar, like the more palatable Sunomono I have found on other menus.

“Must visit if in Lima”
Reviewed September 22, 2013

One of my best Japenese/ Peruvian meals. Beautifully prepared and presented.the quality of produce is superb. Every guest is welcomed at the door by the staff raising their arms and saying Maido which is very amusing. I was in Lima for Mistura and the afternoon I was there the dining room was full of chefs from around the world and everyone seemed to be very appreciative of chef Mitsuharu's food. There is table seating as well as about a dozen seats at the sushi counter.
I will definitely go back next time I am in Lima.
