Our hotel had reccomended we should try Maido which was just around the corner but having read some great reviews, I stubbornly insisted that we should go to Osaka instead (which was a fine dining experience too but not quite as spectacular as Maido). The next day however, I submitted and by god was this the right thing to do! So good we ate there twice and would have been there a lot more had we not got a plane home! The service was really wonderful, our waitress spoke fluent English and enlightened us somewhat as to what was what on the menu. Every morsel was a surprise, a revelation, a feast ! I'd go back to Peru just to it there again...My favourite food experience in the world!
