Very nice hostel -- everything looks new, beds are comfortable and there are large lockers in the rooms, private bathroom was very clean. Kitchen is a bit small, but functional and available for use.
They had a BBQ on the night we stayed in the common are -- food was good. Noisy party was going on in the common area at night which you could hear loudly in the room. This doesn't bother me but if you are a light sleeper looking for somewhere quiet, probably not your best choice.
Breakfast was bread with jam/butter and coffee/tea/hot cocoa, but the bread quality was really good and much better than other hostels. They also had cereal available as an option. The breakfast room is really nice and overlooks the street.
Staff at the front desk spoke great English and were very nice and friendly. Airport pick-up service is a little more expensive than street price for a reputable taxi company, but I suppose it is safer.
Travel agency at the hostel tried to rip me off on a bus ticket and wasn't open during posted hours. The lady told me it would be 50 soles and there were no options but 1st class, but when I asked another travel agency, they were able to get 1st class tickets for 45 soles and 2nd class for 40 soles.More
