“Peace, beauty, scrumptious breakfast, and wonderful location”
Reviewed March 7, 2012

Our family of 5 stayed here for three nights during our entry into Peru before we headed to the Sacred Valley and Cusco. All the descriptions you read below are spot on, it is an absolutely delightful property with a classic Spanish style architecture set off the quiet street, only two blocks from the ocean cliff embarcadero. Our interactions with the hotel were top notch all the way from reservation inquiry to departure. The reservation process is handled by their own web-based service and mail program, a bit awkward at first but very responsive. The reservations team arranged a private pickup for us at the airport, crucial given our midnight arrival. The rooms were clean and comfortable, we slept like rocks. The breakfast was among the best I have ever experienced at a boutique hotel, they even allowed me to bring a portion to my spouse in our room since she was sleeping in.
We had the honor of meeting the owner during our stay, she was dedicated to making sure we were comfortable.
The property is a short walk to LarcoMar, the upscale shopping and dining center in Miraflores.

Room Tip: Ask for the rooms in the back if you want even more quiet. The rooms in the front have balcony beds...

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. The location is great. It less than a two minute walk from the park along the cliff facing the ocean. Some of the rooms have an ocean view. Breakfasts were excellent. Twice we needed extra early breakfasts and were accommodated with no problem. Our room was spacious and clean. The staff was eager to please. We will stay here again when in Lima.

Casa Inca Lima

Tired of the impersonal nature of the large hotel chains? This is a really good "personal touch" hotel like I imagine sea side boarding homes may have been like in the old days.WIFI.Small ,private close to Larco Mar and centre of Miraflores. You can hear the Pacific Ocean breakers at night in the room.Taxi to downtown isn't expensive - but why bother?Good restaurants and museums are around Miraflores, including good options for dining with chilfdren at Larco Mar.The Casa Inca .provides a simple but tasty breakfast .

If you intend buying Watercolour paintings in Lima, you may find that this is not a usual medium in Peru. However, the artists market at Parque Kennedy is only an occasional event-mostly weekends. We found a number of galleries with good watercolour paintings off Avenue Larco near Parque Kennedy.I am not sure of the Street but the KFC is on the corner and they are a few blocks in.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the Pacific Ocean (that is an Westerly perspective if you want the sound of breakers)

Stayed here one night with 3 friends. We stayed here for one night before we ventured off on a 10 day excursion to the jungle and Machu Picchu. The location was great - safe and very walkable. Playa del Mar is a short walk away. The front desk was accomodating. There was a bit of a language barrier, but they were alway so willing to help us.
