The entrance in the Parque de la Reserva will only cost u 4soles (more or less 1dollar) and it´s definitly worth it!! This is the biggest fountain park in the world, there are 13 fountains that are lit with more than 500colourful lights! The park is very clean, quiet and charming, I particularly enjoyed the walk under a giant water bridge and the water pyramid...You will be touched seeing all the kids having fun there, running and giggling everywhere, half wet but truly enjoying themselves. If you like to take pictures, this is definitly the place to go. At the far end of the park there is a magical musical show, where the water dances to the sound of the music and where images and lazers are projected. The very last fountain is 80 m high and is very impressive. You can go there with your friends, family or with your lover, you will definitly enjoy it especially in summer time because you shouldn´t expect being dry there!!!

We went to Parque Reserva at night to see the fountains lit up. It was one of the funnest activities of our my stay in Lima. The fountains are beautiful and the park itself is quite large. My favorite was the fountain that had concentric rings that would turn on and off unexpectedly, soaking those adventurous enough (usually kids) to try to make it to the middle and back. Definitely check this out if you visit Lima.

I went to el Parque de la Reserva in August 2008 - when it was cool and rainy...and it was still absolutely amazing! There are a ton of fountains that "dance" to music...a neat water tunnel that you can walk through.. its really quite large and has two sides...and you walk under the road through a tunnel to go between the two sides. At night, the fountains get lit up. It is really a romantic place!

The best touristic thing I did in Lima. The last reviewer hit it right on the head. He even has pictures of fountains I didn't see. We spent a good 2 hours in the park and loved every minute. It has a fountain show to music with laser lights and video projected into the water. It rivals the Bellagio in Las Vegas, although distinct. All of the fountains in the park are beautiful. A must see after dark. You can get soaked if you want to, but stay dry if you want too. Bathrooms were available for 50 centimos, mostly used for people to change.
