While in Lima as part of an Overseas Adventure Travel OAT program, my wife and attended an evening performance of the City's Magic Water Show ("Circuito Magico Del Agua") held at Parque de la Reserva.
I've seen the Disney Water Magic shows but Lima's Magic Water Show blows Disney away. Lima's show, about 45 minutes long, is an exceptional display of waters choreographed to music and features computerized light designs displayed against the swirling, twirling waters from the fountains which are spread over four or five acres (by my estimate).
The event takes place on evenings (4 p.m. to 11 p.m. with shows at 7:15, 8:15, 9:30 and 10:30) from Wednesday through Sunday. There is a moderate entry fee.
Besides the schedule light and water shows, there are interactive fountains which children (of all ages) can run into and enjoy the cooling waters against the hot steamy nights of Lima!More
