My wife and I were staying at the Melia hotel in San Isidro. We were looking for a restaurant close to the hotel. Sacha is only 6 blocks from the hotel and it is really nice. It is a new restaurant with lovely decor. This is a chef owned restaurant, so the food is prepared with great care. We sat outside in the back patio. As a previous reviewer mentioned, English is well spoken here. Our wait person is originally from New York State, and moved to Peru when she was 11. Coincidentally, my wife and I are also from New York State. My wife had Porcón risotto croquettes, which is only an appetizer, but it was very good. We just came back from Cusco, and she was getting over a bad case of altitude sickness. I had a salad and Charela on mushroom risotto. Charela is a mild Peruvian white fish which was very good, but the mushroom risotto was truly outstanding. We had Sacha trio de chocolate for desert. One was white chocolate Crème brulée, another was a chocolate shell filled with chocolate ice cream, and I forget the third, but all three were very good. We also had a very nice bottle of Argentinean red wine. The service was outstanding! We have eaten at a few very good Lima restaurants, and this one was equal to all of them, but the atmosphere is much more intimate. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys excellent food at reasonable prices. Our total bill includingwine tax and service (tip) was 165 soles. We plan on returning this April when we are in Lima again.
