This special place is simple but complete, full kitchen, wifi available, common living room with plasma tv, bar , open air garden and friendly, knowlegeable staff. Occasionally, they have small concerts with live guitar music that really sets the place apart from the others. If you are looking for a place that is not so touristy, relatively quiet, clean, cheap with good attention- Green Track Hostal is waiting for you!

Caleb and Katu, the owners of this hostel really made our trip to Iquitos one to remember. They're just the loveliest guys, always helpful and full of local knowledge. My husband and I stayed at Green track for 8 nights in total- we loved using the big kitchen (which even has an oven), and enjoying breakfast in the garden area. The mattress was the only downfall, but other than that, we would highly recommend staying here.
You can also buy Acai berries and coconut oil here- beautiful.
we hope to see Caleb and Katu again in the future, awesome guys.
Thank you :)

I'm a frequent travler and totally recommend this place. Safe, nice building, quaint, kitchen, bar, nice staff, and the owners are very friendly and helpful. Price was great; restaurants nearby (real thing; not tourist stuff), and only a few minute taxi ride to Plaza de Armas. Totally recommend it!

Extremely welcoming and warm atmosphere, Green Track is probably the best option for packpackers in Iquitos. The owner was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about tourist information. The place is really clean, with cable tv, tons of movies and a great book exchange! If you're in Iquitos, I highly suggest staying at Green Track Hostel.

This is a recently opened little hostel in a quieter part of town run by two well traveled dudes, so as you would expect they have a pretty good idea of what the backpacking crowd are after. Cheap dorm beds, free wi fi, nice comfy TV room, big, well equipped kitchen, a nice outdoor patio to chill out whilst swinging in a hammock............... Top it off with a well stocked bar and the occasional live music event and you're onto a winner !! Definitely recommend this place*
