It's hard to find vegetarian meals in Iquitos.. We came here after a day in the city and I'm glad I did. It's a tiny, low key restaurant and the lady who runs it is so sweet. She said that nobody local will eat there because people don't want to eat food without meat.
There wasn't a menu, she just gave us the meal of the day but it was really good and very filling. It was a big bowl of vegetable soup and pasta. The price was great too, at just 10 soles per person.
