A converted rubber baron's house, retaining a lot of original features. The tiled floors upstairs were wonderful. Rooms are vast, bathrooms are atmospheric, air conditioning that works, tastefully renovated and refurnished ding room. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Easy walking distance of centre of town. Internet hopeless, but I think that is true of most of Iquitos - if you really depend on modern communication, go some place else. A very happy couple fpo days, which I hope I get the chance to repeat soon
