We stayed here for around 8 nights whilst working with some missionaries in Iquitos. The location was convenient, very close to the water where there were little shops and places to get a drink. The plaza is just around the corner, which is lovely. The air conditioning was very welcomed. The rooms were small and tidy, with a window over the housetops. The shower worked well. We didn't go in the tiny pool, although it was very tempting. Breakfasts were nice enough, the toast was very dry and crunchy though! A wonderful fruit smoothie was served with it. We didn't have any problems, it wasn't a luxury palace but it was good enough for what we wanted. It didn't cost much, and there was nothing uncomfortable about it. It wasn't too touristy at all, but it wasn't scarily foreign. I loved my whole stay in Iquitos. The hotel didn't make the trip, but it certainly didn't make me like it any less!
