A lovely hotel with an excellent spa offering wonderful massages before or after a tough hike! Staff are very friendly and happy to help. We needed to extend our booking and this was arranged without hassle. The rooms were large and spacious and the housekeeping team were excellent as we turned our room upside down with packing and unpacking for our Inca Trail. The hotel offered luggage storage whilst away, even though we hadn't booked further accommodation following our trek. Really pleased with this hotel.

Our second stop when we traveled to Peru was Cusco, what a beautiful city! Here we stayed at the Eco Inn, this hotel is quaint but modern, the rooms are simple but they have anything you need in a hotel rooms, we had meals included with our guided excursion, so we ate breakfast there every day and the food was very good. They offered Wi-Fi in the rooms. This was a nice place to stay, you will enjoy it!!

Overall a very nice hotel. Good food and service, nicely appointed rooms, and average value and location. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Rooms: 4/5
We stayed here for a four nights; we were in one room for three consecutive nights and a fourth night in a different room after visiting Machu Picchu.

:)
- Clean rooms
- Comforable beds
- Great blackout windows
- Lots of electrical outlets

:(
- Wi-Fi: Although free throughout the hotel, coverage was very spotty and the connection was quite slow in the rooms. However, it was much better in the common areas.
- Bathroom in 1st room: The shower didn't work very well; water only came out of about half of the showerhead. It was about half the size of the second room's bathroom, with a small shower stall instead of a tub. The shower was also extremely difficult to control; with the slightest touch to the single shower knob, the water temperature went from freezing to scalding, or vice versa.
- Bathroom in 2nd room: bathtub edge DANGEROUSLY high.

Service: 4.5/5

:)
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Provided room service for items which were not on their room service menu upon request

:(
- Half a point off for two reasons:
1. A couple of times, when my boyfriend (who speaks only English) called the front desk, the receptionist who answered did not speak English. I realize that this is a Spanish-speaking country, yet I found this odd, figuring that speaking English would be a requisite for a front desk receptionist position at any hotel of this caliber. It did not pose a problem for us, as I am Peruvian and a native Spanish speaker, but I can imagine it is annoying to, and/or problematic for, many guests.
2. Between our stays, we waited in line at the front desk to place our luggage in storage. It was pretty busy, and we waited for about 10 minutes. After waiting, as we were asking the receptionist for this service, another guest came up behind us, waited about 10 seconds, and interrupted to state that he and his partner needed their luggage stored for a few hours. The receptionist proceeded to help the other guest store his luggage before returning to help us with the same service. I realize that rude guests are not the hotel's fault, but a more professional receptionist would have handled a line cutter more appropriately.

Food: 4/5

Great breakfast hours. Good selection of breakfast items, although some of their hot buffet choices are decidedly not breakfast foods, such as, for example, chicken saltado, chicken wings, and chicharron. Additionally, we ordered a pizza and a soup, and both were pretty decent.

Location: 3/5

- I found the distance from the hotel to the main square walkable. However, I can't imagine my parents would agree.
- There is a very large artesanias (craft market) directly accross the street.
- I felt relatively safe walking there for the most part, but not entirely so late at night.

Final advice:

If the price is right, and you don't mind the distance to the main square, stay here! All my cons are minor and normal for any similar hotel.

Hope this helps someone! :)

Room Tip: Try to get a room in the perimeter of the building; the pan flute music from the dining room floats...

We stayed here during a trip to see Machu Picchu. Cusco is definitely worth staying in for a few days during your trip. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The free Wifi was great and the breakfast always meet our needs. My friend arrived sick and the staff was able to help me find a local doctor who came to our room and prescribed antibiotics for her. 24 hours later she was feeling better and we were able to make our train to Machu Picchu. If you want to spend some extra time at Machu Picchu, I would suggest staying in Aguas Calientes for a night for a second day at Machu Picchu. Otherwise, between the train and the ride to the top of the mountain you have just enough time for the tour and maybe an hour or so of exploring before you have to be back to catch the train back to Cusco.

Room was lovely...the bathroom could have been better, looked a bit dirty (even though it wasn't)and the shower curtain could do with being replaced. But the staff were brilliant, I did some laundry which was returned to me on time. Would recommend.

We recently stayed at the Eco Inn during our visit to Peru and our climb of the Inca Trail. We spent 2 nights before and 2 nights after and had a very nice stay on both occasions.
The front staff are friendly and helpful, a great buffet breakfast and we also used the dining room during our stay and the food was well prepared though a limited menu.
The rooms were quite comfortable and had all the simple requirements
The coca tea is there for the taking which is supposed to assist in altitude sickness.
The hotel is right across the road from a huge market and blocks away from the Plaza de Armas and the Cathedral as well as the Pisco Market and several others.
Enjoyed our stay there.

The hotel is really popular between travelers, which are on the way to Macchu Picchu. The lobby is always full of people and luggage getting stored or removed from the storage room. Many people do what we also did – stay in Cusco for a day or two, and then continue the journey towards Aguas Calientes. Leaving the luggage in the storage room is a wise choice as you cannot take any bigger bags on the train. The staff is really helpful – they will just ask you “In how many days are you coming back?”.

The location is ideal, just at the end of Av. El Sol, close to restaurants, cafes and the main attractions. The trip to the airport takes around 10-15 minutes, depending on the traffic. If you need some groceries, there’s a supermarket on the other side of the road, open till late hours.
We stayed there in total for 3 nights, 2 nights in a room on a second floor with windows facing the main street and then one night in a room on the ground floor. The latter one was a bit noisy - we could hear the neighbors' shower as it were in our bathroom. Otherwise the rooms are really clean and comfortable. There’s a safety deposit box and a flat screen TV in every room. WiFi is free of charge and works flawlessly.

The breakfast is really good as well – different breads, cheeses, ham, fruits, coffee and selection of teas. If you hunger for tea during the day, there’s some available all the day in the lobby. They also sell some small snacks, like chips and chocolate/cereal bars.

I am warmly recommending this hotel!
