“Amazing experience!”

This restaurant continues to amaze with the quality of meals and excellent service offered. The beet ravioli and the scallops are great, but just about anything on the menu is worth trying.

“A Cuzco star”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 29, 2013

We tried to get table for dinner one night but it was booked out, so we had a drink at the bar then went back for lunch the next day. The place has a great feel and the food was outstanding - one of the best meals we had in South America. We shared some dishes and they were all brilliant - the octopus salad, the stuffed calamari and the duck prosciutto salad. Light, fresh and tasty - and all for about 210 soles including a couple of galsses of wine. Perfect lunch food served by helpful, attentive staff - hard to imagine a better combination.

“Goood food, Great ambience”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 28, 2013

We owned a tapas bar back home and this was the exact sort of thing we tried to create. Perfectly lit, comfortable, great service and a menu that excited.
The wine list was varied and full of interesting choices, albeit it slightly on the expensive side. The only reason I don't give this 5 stars is due to the antipasto platter being a bit oily and really lacking in flavor.
Still, I say.... Go and enjoy!

“The Good and the Bad”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 28, 2013

Good:
I found the tapas excellent and well served.
The staff was for the most part were extremely good.
Bad:
Pretentious with below average house wine and horrible entrees.
High cost of wine. I had a Malbec and found it sadly lacking. I expected more for the 24 soles it cost.
I had the spaghetti with anchovies and capers. It had 2 small bits of anchovies and way too many capers. I love both but I found this uneatable. My friends entree was not any better. My meal was not served with bread. I paid extra for bread.
I had to book 2 days in advance with much anticipation. There was only 2 tables booked at the time that we arrived. So what was the problem getting an earlier booking as requested.... pretentious is the only word that can describe their attempt to appear busier then they were.
The owners are Peruvian and Canadians no Spanish yet their main website has English and Castilian. Castilian is a European Spanish typical of Northern Spain, not Latin American. What folly attempting to impress tourist.

“Lovely food and beautiful presentation”

A very diverse and interesting menu with beautiful presentation. Went to the early seating and felt a bit rushed and found the restaurant a bit noisy but the food was excellent.
