We had lunch at the bar and all of us were happy. We had bar sandwiches and we were very pleased. I would suggest lunch, others said dinner was very good but we didn't have time.

We arrived in Cusco jet-lagged and loopy from the altitude but were instantly revived when we found our way to Cicciolina, just off the main square. Enter through the courtyard and head upstairs and you will know you're arrived into a different country! Charming and atmospheric, we were delighted to find that the food was amazing to boot. We shared a bunch of different tapas, one highlight was the crusted shrimp but everything we tried was delicious. I ordered the mushroom risotto, which took a while because it was made to order -- it might have been the best I've ever had. All of the ingredients were farm-fresh and bursting with flavor. Service was excellent and the servers all spoke English. We sat in the bar room, which holds the open-air kitchen and we watched city life roll by from our table by the window -- the perfect way to acclimate to Peru! Prices were reasonable for the high quality cuisine. Our only regret was that we only got to dine here once -- but we did get to have dinner at their sister restaurant "Baco" the same night -- also amazing!

I know it's just one more review, still: they really deserve all nice words.
Food and atmosphere were excellent. I ordered ravioli and they were to die for.My husband ordered sea food rissotto and onion soup. Everything was exceptionally great!
We paid for the dinner around $80, for 2 appetizers,2 main courses, 2 drinks. In San Francisco it could cost $200.
Presentation and atmosphere were classy. Service could be better for the place like that, but still was good.

Actuually they used mostly local ingredients so maybe they were Spanish inspired Peruvian tapas. We went only for wine and tapas and only looked into the dining room that others have discussed. The place opens at 6 in the eveniing ans was crowded by 6:15 with a waiting line. The food was great, the service was very attentive considering the crowd and the cooks were interesting to watch. There is one open kitchen and one partially open kitchen.
Good selection of Chilean and Argentine wines (never found a Peruvian on the trip I was impressed with).
It was recommended by the concierge at Casa Andina Private Selection when we asked about the closer(to the hotel) Tartessos. He prefered this to Tartessos. We tried both (although Tartessos was not serving tapas by the hour we got there so we ordered dinner) and we agree with him.
