“One of the best Cusco Casa Andinas”
Reviewed November 8, 2012

I've stayed now at 4 of the Casa Andina hotels in Cusco and this is one of the best. It has a pleasant location, good vibe and good staff. This is true of all of them and perhaps the only differentiation is that timber is painted blue not green. Both colours are traditional in Cusco but the green is somehow oppressive. It may seem trivial but the colour is rather pervasive and unattractive so you cannot escape it. Bathrooms are clean, beds comfortable and the size of room depends on location. Closer to Plaza De Armas, hotel rooms seem smaller. The only problem is that rooms open onto the central courtyard so privacy is a bit of a problem and lighting is not really adequate when curtains are drawn.

Just a short and interesting walk a couple of blocks away from the noise of Plaza de Armas. Beautiful views, great outdoor seating, and very attentive service. I would definitely return. Room 501 is ridiculously nice with breathtaking views.

We've had a very nice and comfortable stay at Casa Andina Classic San Blas; our room was pretty, quite, and warm. People who work at the hotel were very friendly and at the same very professional with their job. Also, the location of the hotel, was excellent for me and my husband because it is situated in a quite place near to the Barrio de San Blas.

I recently travelled to Peru with a group of 7 females. We booked our tour through Chaska Tours with the help of Pieter Roos. He booked rooms for us at Casa Andina San Blas in Cusco, Peru. Rooms were lovely, breakfast was great and the hotel was clean, safe, and had a very attentive staff. The area in which the hotel is located is safe, fun, and artsy. The walk to the main square was quick and enjoyable. I would not hesitate to return or to recommend it to friends.

We stayed 4 nights at Casa Andina San Blas in August 2012. The staff is very friendly and helpful!! We enjoyed having breakfast in the beautiful calm garden very much. And the location in San Blas is near the center but quiet. It's possible to go within a few minutes to cafés and restaurants and have a nice walk back to the hotel. Shops and a laundry are nearby. And the rooms are clean and equipped with everything you need.
It's really a good place to stay in Cusco!

My hubby and i loved it because it was sort of private, very calm, we didn't hear noises from the street, wifi worked well when it needs to.
Staff was VERY helpful, breakfast was just what you need, decent variety, good presentation and everything fresh.
Great architecture, we loved the hotel, it's beautiful, we took so many pictures of its property :).
Location is prefect, only 2 blocks from the good places to go.

We stayed at Casa Andinas San Blas for two nights on each end of our trip/trek to Manchu picchu (8/8-8/15). The weather is very cold at this time of year in the mornings and evenings so be prepared! They have electrical heaters in the rooms that work well but walking from the front desk to the room is a bit chilly. The staff was very accommodating and friendly, their English is very good as well. They cocoa tea is always ready in the lobby and they also sell bottled water for a reasonable price. When we arrived back from our 5 day hike they had already put our bags they held for us in our room, great service. The beds were very comfortable and we looked forward to much needed rest. The bathrooms and room decor is quite simple and basic but everything you need. They include breakfast with each nights stay but we were up to early the first morning and slept to late the last, it's seems like a pretty basic continental breakfast though.
