Perfect balance between value and comfort. Staff was welcoming, friendly, helpful. The first night (Saturday) my room was a bit loud, they moved me without making me feel like a lout for complaining. They were always ready with suggestions for where to go, what to eat, where to shop. They were helpful with calls, and cabs, and anything we asked.
I chose this based on reviews, including being close to Plaza de Armas, but not right next to it, because I wanted things a little quieter. And aside from occasional nightclub noise, they were.
Mate de Coca and Mate de Muña were always available, hot, in the lobby.
We liked the breakfast. It included a wide variety of fruits, both sliced and whole, eggs made to order, sausage and bacon, olives, a few cereals, several juices and nectars, different breads, usually one plain and one flavored yogurt.
And the rooms were clean. Most had king-sized beds. They put us into bigger, better rooms then we paid for. Some had cedar wardrobes - I just love the smell.
And at check out, I found that they charged us $10 less per night than we booked for.
If I ever return to Cusco, this is the place I will stay.More
