We visited Cusco on our way to Machu Picchu and we stayed at the Tierra Viva Cusco Centro for 2 days. The hotel arranged for a free pick up at the airport and helped coordinate a wonderful, affordable guide to take to the sacred Inca sites around town.

Roger was an amazing help with insight and information that truly made our stay at this hotel amazing.

The breakfast was very good and the rooms were clean and spacious. We could not ask for anything better.

Room Tip: Don't buy the Coca leaves for altitude sickness at the airport. the Hotel has leaves and tea fo...

Room is clean and big, very good bathroom also very clear. Bed is very comfortable. We slept very well. Breakfast is basic but is enough for me. Excellent staff, very helpful. Location is good also. Highly recommend.

Staff were exceptionally helpful .hotel was well located with a pretty court yard.Ample breakfast served overlooking court yard and even served at 5 am especially for the Machu Picchu Trekkers catching early train. I would definitely return and recommend this hotel.
The hotel does not serve dinner but ample restaurants in area. They do deliver however a take away service to the hotel .

Room Tip: Choose room facing court yard if you choose to open windows or high up on road facing traffic Howe...

Great service and clean rooms! There was a strike going on when we arrived in Cusco. The hotel rate included an airport pickup so we were picked up at the airport and dropped off as close to the hotel since the roads were closed off. A staff member met us where we were dropped off and carried our bags. The location was great and I would recommend the Coca tea in the lobby!

Such a great little hotel, with genuinely helpful staff. Rooms had simple decorations but charming and had the biggest bed we've ever slept on. Breakfast was simple, but included hot items such as eggs, sausages, tamales. They picked us up at the airport for free, and can arrange taxis for various destinations in the city for a fair price (e.g. 12 soles to go to Sacsayhuaman, 10 to the airport). Wifi worked great the entire time we were there. Overall, a really great stay!

Room Tip: Some rooms have oversized king bed. Rooms facing the street does get a bit of street noise, but not...

My boyfriend and I stayed here two nights before going on the inca trail and one night after. The best part about this hotel is how amazing the staff is, they're very accommodating and helpful. The location is great..less than 10 min walk to the main plaza de Armas. Our bed was huge and the room was spacious in the first room. In The second room we had two floors!! And the bags waiting for us since we had left them at the hotel while on the inca trail. Everything is very clean and although you could hear some faint music and street noises, it was nothing that prevented us from sleeping great. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Also, the breakfast was great. It wasn't anything fancy but good enough. This place is a great value overall, not a luxury hotel but comfortable, clean, friendly, and a great location! I would definitely stay here again.

I'm not sure how the previous reviewer could say this hotel was overpriced. It had big clean rooms, great Wi-Fi, above average breakfast included, and the staff were some of the best anywhere. They remembered our names from the second we arrived and helped us with every little thing we asked. Rodrigo was especially great, his English was fantastic and he went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. All for about $70. I've stayed in hotels for three or four times that much that didn't have the staff, location or charm that this one did. Well done Tierra Viva. I also stayed at a Tierra Viva in Lima and in Puno and was impressed overall.
