We loved our 4D/3N Jungle Inca Trail trek with Viajes. It was even better than expected.
We were a group of 3 on the tour and we always got our own rooms in the hostels which were basic but a lot nicer than expected. The food was also basic but nice.
The guide for the tour was amazing, Jhimmy looked after everyone and was very knowledgeable about the area and Peruvian history. He was also really good fun.
The trek itself was amazing and we through the most amazing landscapes in Peru. The second day jungle trek was hard but brilliant, stopping at local houses to buy fruit, coffee and chocolate in the hills. The ziplining and white water rafting was great fun.
The booking process was fairly easy and communication with the tour company was simple via email. It was all very organised and we felt in safe hands. Everything ran according to plan including timings of activities and meals, it was all very well run.

Overall we would highly recommend this tour and tour company. The trip was very good value for money too.

We booked a tour with Carlos Expeditions through Viajes Cusco, and it was very easy. The man we dealt with was nice and could answer almost all our questions. He die organize buying our bus tickets to Puerto Maldonado, and he informed us it was only a little more to do it for us... But I'm the end it was 15 soles more each ticket, which was 30 soles. To penny pushers like us we would have den that ourselves. But that is not too big a deal. The tour was great, we stayed at Monte Amazonico, and everything went great. The food at the lodge was great quantities and delicous, this was not a buffet style meal times, good quality home made food. The total experience in the jungle and dealing with Viajes Cusco went smoothly and easy.

We had a great experience on the 4D/3N Salkantay Trek with Yang, who was an awesome tour guide. Viajes Cusco went out of their way to accommodate a change in our travel schedule, which was much appreciated.

I signed up for the 4 day trek through a company called Karikuy Tours a few months before my desired date and was incredibly pleased and impressed with the experience. Our trek guide, Yang Rojas, was a professional in his trade and guided our group safely to and through the Salkantay pass and along the trail from there to Machu Picchu. He ensured everyone had the accommodations they needed and that we had a great time along our journey. His knowledge and respect for the region made our time more enjoyable. For anyone considering a visit to the Cusco region of Peru, I would highly recommend trekking through the Salkantay pass.

We booked 2 tours with this company: 1. Sacred Valley (Pisac, Ollantaytambo, Chincheros) and 2. Sacred Valley (Moray and Salt mines).

The lady at reception initially tried to charge the same price for both tours, although they both start at 8.20/30am, the first tour ran until 7.30pm and the second only until 2.30pm. It seemed very strange they were quoted the same price as neither included lunch, simply transportation and a guide. We eventually agreed on a combined price for both tours which we were happy with. It was cheaper than other agencies we had visited!

Tour 1 was excellent! Everything ran on time, the bus was very comfortable and our driver Mr Santiago was very safe. Our guide Jesse/Jessie was brilliant. He balanced English and Spanish throughout the day keeping everyone engaged, was very informative and just a really warm and welcoming person. This tour alone would score a 5.

Tour 2 was very good. Our guide Joseph, spoke excellent English and Spanish again, very well balanced and very informative. The drive was no where near as comfortable but I don’t want to blame this on the driver as it could have been the vehicle quality, either way is was extremely bumpy and we both ended feeling a little/lot travel sick. The length of the second day was shorter but enough for what you went to see. However, as I know they charge the same price for this as the other it is not as good value for money.

Overall though I think a good budget option for tours in and around Cusco.
