After being in Cusco for about 10 weeks i finally found this place and is great after missing for so long being to a cafe where i can seat down and just enjoy the friendly atmosphere and talk to the people running it. Plus i gett o practice a bit of my german and spanish with all the international travelers you usually find here, and Chris and Conti have always great info of the places they have seen in Cusco and around. Did i mention the prices are pretty cheap? I might see you around there if you go any time before the end of March!

lets go bananas offer a lovely range of fresh juices, crepes & sandwiches.

they also have combo options which include a choice of drink which is brill value for money.

i had hearty corn soup, a cheese & tomato toastie and a mint tea for 10 soles - loco!

there's a lovely vibe & the couple who run the place are chatty & helpful.

Recommended by a friend met on the road, "Lets Go Bananas" was our first stop following a 12 hour bus journey from Arequipa. Comfort of warm, tasty vegetarian food is nothing to be taken lightly after a long bus ride! I had the "mediterraneano" off their new lunch menu and the hummus was OFF THE CHARTS yummy! Returned the following morning for breakfast and enjoyed more tastiness. Much as gracias to Chris and Conny for the hospitality and warm food, great value for money this place does not disappoint!

We were recommended to stay here by a couple we ran into in a hostel in Arequipa, told us to just come on by with out a reservation. As we arrived early
In the morning we found out that so far the hostel was full (at least a good sign of popularity) but they were to be more than happy to try accommodate us. They offered to keep our bags safe for the day and also offered to let us use their showers as well. We sat and had a delicious breakfast and used the wifi. The menu is healthy and reasonable and they serve breakfast all day! We came back the next day for lunch and here is where I right this review! We love Conny and Chris! Thank you both!
