We found this place by accident just down from out hotel and came back every night! From the pizzas to the wood oven lasagna you can't go wrong with whatever you choose here. The staff were friendly and speak a bit of English.

We stopped into Nonna Trattoria late on the first night we arrived into Cusco. It was right around the corner from our hotel and we were starving, so we just went into the first place we saw. We had no expectations whatsoever, we just wanted to get food into our stomachs. The atmosphere was warm, cozy, and pleasing. We ordered our pizza and were surprised to have an appetizer or bread brought out immediately along with a tray of fresh oregano, spicy sauce, and garlic sauce. The pizza was made in a real brick oven right there in the front of the restaurant. The pizza was delivered to our table incredibly quickly and tasted amazing. The appetizer, pizza, sauces, everything had amazing flavor and wonderful seasoning. The cheese was so good too! The service was excellent and fast. If you want great service, amazing pizza, and good value, don't skip this gem! We went back a second time later in our trip and it was just as good.

This place was right around the corner from our hostel. We found it one night while cold and hungry. The pizza is cooked in a clay, wood-fired oven near the front. Little pieces of toast, complete with a few types of sauces meet you at the table. The house made limonada is a delicious addition to your meal of many types of pizzas. I really enjoyed the pizza choices in our few times of eating there. The asparagus on the pizza was a nice touch. Only complaint: they were out of most of their desserts both times. Don't hold your breath for the cheesecake.

We were enticed to try Nonna's because of all the reviews we read on trip advisor. To be honest, it's not that great. The pizza was good, but it is pretty hard to get pizza wrong. It feels like they are trying to be La Bodega 138, but are doing it pretty poorly. Okay food, friendly service, but there is better.
