We spent a total of 4 nights with Miguel and Viviana on the front and back end of a Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu and enjoyed our stay very much. The view from two rooms we stayed in were incredible, and the view from the porch off the family room and the upper room which also serves as a restaurant / dining room at night is incredible. Breakfast was simple, delicious and satisfying - orange juice, coffee, fresh bread, jam and eggs. Miguel served us two outstanding gourmet dinners for a very reasonable price, and it was fun to get to know them better along with other travelers who joined us and shared their stories with us. Miguel and Viviana were also very helpful in suggesting things to do, setting up taxis, letting us know a good place to have our laundry done right around the corner, lending us trekking poles, etc., etc. We will definitely try to stay with Miguel and Viviana again when we visit Cusco the next time!
