Rumi Punku is a super place to stay. It's in a very safe part of town. Just an 8 minute walk to the main square. We were picked up at the airport. We were treated to coca tea upon arrival.
Our room was facing on of the courtyards and very quiet. The showers were hot and powerful. The receptionists were awesome, especially Jesus. He went above and beyond. We stored luggage there for a few days while we stayed in Ollantaytambo (also a really cool town). The breakfasts were very adequate with eggs, protein, fresh fruit and yogurt, bread and cheese, and strong coffee. The internet area is modern and comfortable. The jacuzzi/sauna area is an added plus, altho that is extra...but you rent if privately, so it's all yours. If we ever go back to Cuzco, we would stay at this place in a heartbeat. This place is very cozy and comfy.

Room Tip: nice to have a courtyard view.

I have never given a full 5 for a hotel before... but this hotel was SO accommodating in regards to recommendations about the area and where to go and not to go. They spoke fluent english too. The staff was extremely nice. The beds were comfortable, the water was warm, they furnished everything that most hotels in the area don't. GREAT value. In fact, we stayed a couple extra days there because we were so satisfied. If you go to Peru, stay at this hotel.

We stayed at this charming hotel for 5 nights before the trek and 1 night after.
The hotel is beautiful with Spanish style courtyards where you can sit and relax.
The rooms are clean and quite comfortable and absolutely loved the beds! WiFi was available throughout the hotel.
The staff was so accommodating and always ready to answer any questions. The location was excellent, only a short walk to the main square. Lot's of restaurants and little shops to explore .
I look forward to returning to this hotel and highly recommend it for your stay in Cusco.

Room Tip: When you first arrive, you do feel short winded so if you are up to doing the stairs, the higher flo...

Rumi Punku is just an excellent hotel. Because of its great location (couple of blocs from the plazza, in a quiet street with limited traffic). Because of the kindness of the staff (very efficient, always taking care of you) and because of the amenities of the space (great breakfast room, great common spaces and very clean rooms).

In Cusco there is a large choice of high end hotels, very chic and priced accordingly. Rumi Punku is a great alternative: it's "chic", but not ostentatious, and half the price of the most expensive hotels.

They organized for me dedicated solo-tour, working with a greta travel agency, excellent guides and driver.

For sure, if I ever come back to Cusco, I'll book at Rumi Punku

Room Tip: I was in Room 202, certainly not the best one, but I can't be of any help to assess which one is...

We had a very good experience with this hotel. We were picked up from our Inka Express bus from Puno. At check-in, the staff member helping us gave us excellent restaurant recommendations and then made a reservation for us. The rooms and bathrooms were clean comfortable, up-to-date and nicely furnished. When we came back from the Sacred Valley, they arranged a massage and spa time.

Stayed in this hotel pre and post Inca Trail trek. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself as lots of character as it is a maze around different courtyards. We had a matrimonial superior room which was lovely and spacious and also clean. Breakfast is served from 5 a.m. which is really useful as collection time for the start of your trek is usually around 5-5.30 a.m.

The hotel were happy for us to leave the bags that we were not taking trekking with us in the room so we didn't have to lug these around. When we got back to the hotel after the trek they were waiting for us in our new room.

The hotel is located just a few minutes walk from San Blas and also the main Plaza, and if you fancy a quick snack then you can just pop down to Jack's Cafe which is 2 minutes down the road.

Aside from some of the staff being unfriendly, we enjoyed our stay. The rooms are clean, bathrooms are a nice size, the hotel itself is beautiful, and we felt completely safe. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, too.

Plenty of hot water in the morning, but good luck getting luke warm shower in the afternoon.

Room Tip: Ask for room 401!!
