Cusco was our first stop in Peru before doing the Inca Trail so we had originally planned to stay 4 nights before and 1 night after the trek. My partner and I both became to ill to do the trek and the staff here were very helpful and accommodating with our request to stay a few extra nights.

The restaurant here is absolutely gorgeous and sitting in front of the fire before bed was fantastic. The fresh juice and bread with breakfast daily was a treat! Breakfast wasn't included.

I spent 4 nights here before hiking the Inca Trail and 2 nights after. Great location, 5 minute walk to the main square, Plaza de Armas. Rooms were comfortable, the larger rooms with private bath looked really nice, but I opted for a shared bathroom. I never had any trouble with the bathrooms and never had to wait to take a shower. The cafe is great, good food and coffee. There was a small stack of hiking poles near the lobby as well, so if you plan to hike the trail, look there before you go out and buy a set.

We had such a great time here. I can't say enough good things. The service was great, rooms were unique and comfortable, the food in the restaurant was healthy and delicious (they grow their own veggies), and the location was convenient to most Cusco sites.

The price is very reasonable for what you're getting and it also goes to a great cause. Instead of just soliciting donations for their foundation for Cusco children they use the revenues from the hotels to keep the foundation somewhat self-sustaining. We went on a free tour of the facilities they've built for Cusco children and it was a great way to understand a little bit more about what the lives of the children you inevitably see on the street in the town are like. You are able to purchase items from the store that the children in the program run, but they're not pushy about donating money which I appreciated.

Room Tip: All the rooms are named after the original children in the program and they are each very unique.

I went to Cuzco last december for the first time in my life. I was looking for a place in the middle of the City with easy access to the main atractions, museums, and nightlife.
This hotel was very close to all of them. It was a nice stay. The staff was very helpful giving directions and accomodating our needs.
i'm peruvian but I never went to Cuzco before. I had a great experience!
I'll come back to Cuzco and of course to "The Ninos Hotel". They also have a charitable cause donating some of the profits to the unprivileged children of Cuzco.

One of the reasons that I chose to stay at Nino's was that they support street children in Cusco, which is such a worthy cause. The room was very eclectic but fine. As we were close to the kitchen and the bathroom for those rooms that did not have ensuites, and the room faced out on to the courtyard, we found it to be noisy, with people getting up early and talking away in the courtyard, which tended to echo. Not conducive to sleeping past 6.00 am.

Breakfast is not included, but available at a reasonable cost.

It is an easy walk into the center of town and the staff are very helpful.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the second floor, which may be quieter.

Niños hotel is an absolute gem of a place with comfortable, nicely decorated rooms to suit every budget, all set round a delightful courtyard and located a very short walk from the main square. The staff are unfailingly helpful and polite and the food they serve there is both great value and incredibly tasty, if not very Andean. A lot of the salads and herbs come from their own garden, all the bread is homemade and the soups are particularly good. Showers strong and hot, even when I used them at 5am for an early Machu Picchu start. I stayed here for 4 nights on a tight(ish) budget, opting for a single room without a private bathroom. With all my breakfasts included, a couple of lunches and countless cups of coca tea ended up only paying £80. And all the profits go to a charity to help local kids too. Not great if you are travelling alone and looking for a more social place, though I did have a few chats with other guests.

Stayed here for two nights before and one night after my trek (with Alpaca Expeditions). It was a nice and quite location while still being very close to the town center. There was a cute courtyard in the middle that was nice for relaxing in if you needed downtime outside of your room. As many of the hotels offer in Cusco, there is a free baggage storage area in the hotel for you to leave things if you go on a trek. I know that the hotel advertises that it benefits orphans, but I have heard from many people that is false. Regardless, I would recommend this location for your stay in Cusco!
