Pleasant but wonderful on Sunday, which is market day. Give the market at least 2 hours with an upstairs lunch, followed by a hike up to the ruins which are not complicated but offer a lovely view.

A lovely cathedral both inside and outside - it is larger than it looks from the outside. Be sure to see the painting of The Last Supper where cuy is being served. There are also ornate wooden carvings and altars to gaze upon.

Beautiful Cathedral. Was spechless when we saw the inside.
Art is everywhere. It combines Catholic and Andean faith in their representation of art.
Worth the visit. We were really impressed. You learn a lot if you hire the right guide. Must see!

My husband and I did a guided tour that included the cathedral. The art work inside is unbelievable, it's a must see!

Definitely worth having a guide to explain what we saw. Saw about five different sites of interest including the cathedral, drove up into the mountains to about 3800 m, able to buy alpaca goods on one of the walks.
