It's right on the main square so easy to see, but nothing particularly wonderful. The most interesting part is the Cusqueno art, where the local artists drew typical Catholic scenes like the Last Supper or Madonna and Child but stuck Peruvian items into them like cuy or maize beer. Worth a stop for a half hour or so.

It's not hard to miss the Cathedral, it's the centre piece with the Plaza De Armas. The cathedral just oozes grandeur and I wish we had been able to go to Sunday mass.

The paintings, the architecture and artwork within the cathedral is beautiful - we didn't join a tour but wish we had so we could learn more about the paintings.

Would recommend around 45mins - 1 hour here, and definitely try to get a guided tour. Note there are no photo's allowed and there are staff that do monitor this.

Incan intepretations of the religion...you will understand once you enter here!!! Be it the statues or the paintings :) No wonder this is ranked the #6 cathedral in the world!!! It is unique in itself!!! (And I have seen quite a lot of cathedrals in Spain)
