“Nice day trip”
Reviewed December 9, 2012

It's nice to walk through these narrow streets and buy some inexpensive and very nice preuvian crafts.

“Nice area, pretty touristy”
Reviewed November 30, 2012

The San Blas area is actually a really neat place to walk around. The streets are very narrow so that only one car can pass through and most streets cars don't even attempt to drive on. The tall white walls of the buildings hold your gaze and the many little cafes and restaurants can keep you within the few blocks for your whole trip, but might burn a hole in your wallet. This is a pretty touristy area meaning that the prices are high and there is a street vendor on every corner. It's still a good place to check out and take pictures, but look for food elsewhere if you're on a budget.

“Awesome walk!”
Reviewed November 29, 2012

Cusco is such an amazing walking town that you cannot help but fall in love with it. The walk to San Blas with the fountains was great. We found a great lunch spot with a balcony overlooking the city. Then we made the decision to find our way to Cristo Blanco. We ended up climbing hand over hand through brush to get there.

“a different dimension to cusco”
Reviewed November 27, 2012

this is a nice area, I went up here at night and as you go uphill and you see the back ground mountains behind you with all the street lights that go up towards it is very pretty. I wish there were more bars or at least more signs. I went to two bars both with live music from 11 pm. One of them was the 7angelitos that were having a buenavista social club band. Didnt get to stay but it was getting more crowded the later it got.
