The nicest little streets, perfect for spending a day chilling your way around Cusco! Certainly the place to live if you'll be staying in Cusco for a long time.

“Cute artisan neighbourhood with places for lunch.”
Reviewed October 25, 2012

Cute little neighbourhood for an afternoon stroll. You most likely walk through it anyway as Cusco is relatively small. Many artisan workshops and stores. Great place for lunch is apparently Jack's bar.

“Saturday Artesenal Market”
Reviewed October 16, 2012

Did not feel like I was getting sold to by snake oil salesman. A more relaxing place to peruse some interesting trinkets on a Saturday (believe Sat only).

“Great area”
Reviewed October 14, 2012

Great area, restaurants, shops, galleries, crafts, music .A fantastic suburb just 10 min from the centro.Slightly uphill from centro and at the altitude it's enough to have you gasping if you don't take it easy. Great for an afternoon stroll. Galleria Merida well worth a look great pottery of the worker by now deceased potter but work goes on by widow and daughter. worth it to meet senora merida alone.
