there are a lof of ruins around Cusco but Sacsayhuaman is a few minutes up the city, it has a great view of Cusco and the ruins are quite beautiful and looked after.

After Machu Picchu, this place pales in comparison and somewhat looks like a bunch of rocks. The best thing is the view of Cusco city available from the site.

Unfortunately, we saw this after Machu Picchu, and we didn't find it too interesting. We just didn't find it to be that unique. We had also been at other ruins and maybe we were just tired of seeing Inca ruins at that point.
