Hotel Costa Del Sol Ramada Cusco

Just about a 1/2 hours drive from Cusco's Airport, this hotel is situated within walking distance of the city's main square and all its attractions.

By a quirk of circumstances, I was given a single double bedded room all to myself (although I was supposed to share a twin bedded with one of my travelling companions. ) The room was spacious and comfortable- although it did not have much of a view - the courtyard was obscured by a low roof. But then I did not come to Cusco to stay in the hotel the whole day.

Breakfast was adequate and other amenities like free flow coca tea and Wi-Fi in the rooms were very appreciated.

Great facility in the middle of Cusco. Good and spacious rooms. great look of the city and quiet atmosphere. The breakfast is phenomenal but the service attitude is much less. The lethargic service will deter your expectations...!Don't worry, you can always think positive...!

We checked in twice in this hotel (before and after Machu Picchu). First visit the room was large but no view at all and all kitchen smells came into the room. Very clean though and comfortabel bed. Second time we got a really great suite (Again good beds and very clean). Presumably because our backpacks (make sense if travelling in Peru that you Dont take your Louis Vuitton or high heals) or sneakers but Staff at both reception (all times) and restaurant was not too Friendly except for Walter who was extremely helpfull and Friendly. I do not recommand using the hotel driver (taxi) to the busstation. For the maximum price he dropped us of in the middle of the street a 100 meter before the entrance of the busstation. Summary: hotel itself is indeed 4 stars, Staff is not.

Hotel is in a great location pretty much around the corner from the Plaza Del Armas. Lots to walk to in the local area. Hotel itself is a solid 3 star despite its frequent billing as a 4 star.

We stayed in 2 suites in the colonial section which were huge albeit a bit out of date. The rooms facing the street suffer from tons of street noise. You will hear every car alarm, every honk and every truck which comes by. If you book one of these rooms bring ear plugs. Seriously it is really bad.

I will say the people at the front desk seem to lack any enthusiasm for their job which is not really a great way to start a stay.

Breakast which was included was good. They do offer eggs to order but wont tell you proactively. Not a terrible place but with some staff training and perhaps better soundproofing it could be so much better.

This hotel had great sized rooms, even the 'standard double' was good. Rooms were clean with good facilities, spa bath, and large shower (head). Whole location had a great feel to it, large restaurant area, close to all shops and taxis were readily available. Would definitely stay there next time in Cuzco

Booked thru a tour company and they had advertised the Casa Andina Private Collection Hotel, then put us in the Ramada, so we didn't feel we were getting what we had paid for at all. I will say that it was in a nice central location, close to eating, shopping, etc. Rooms were dark and clammy and the bathrooms were small and spartan. The bed was rather butt-sprung and the rugs were stained. The breakfast was OK - standard fare. Wifi didnt work for us at all in this hotel. The front desk staff was was particularly curt and cranky - especially when the tour company left some items for us. If the tour guide hadn't come and argued with them, we wouldn't have gotten our bag back, which was behind the counter the whole time. We moved to the JW as soon as the tour was over and had a much better experience.

This place is great. From the moment we arrived to our departure, we were made to feel at home. As a platinum member of SPG, the hotel voluntarily upgraded us to a junior suite. The room was immaculate, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was included, which consisted of ala carte options and a buffet ( we opted to eat a little of both). The spread was definitely extensive and made from choice, quality ingredients.
The staff seemed genuinely welcoming. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with coca tea in the lobby where a porter asked if we were experiencing any difficulties adjusting to the altitude. After admitting that I was having a bit of trouble breathing, he was reassuring, telling me that it would pass soon. And it did. After some rest, I began to adjust nicely.
I highly recommend the place.
