Beautiful environment, great staff, the city is a little tough as the altitude becomes noticeable and the smog is horrendous. Buffet breakfast is great especially when sitting in the courtyard. Although people do Machu Pichu from here on a day trip, id strongly recommend spending a night closer to MP and then returning here, which we did.

My wife wasnt feeling well due to altitude and they brought her oxygen at 3am. Always eager to please.

Only minor issue is that kids wanted to use the pool and it is only part of the spa so you have to pay for it.

Room Tip: Based on the architecture id ask for a room closer to the side where the restaurant is but no big de...

Built on the site of conquistador house that was itself built from an Inka palace, this hotel is in the old part of Cusco, and offers luxury accommodation and great service. We had two adjoining rooms as a family of 4, and were very comfortable. The service in the dining room was exceptionally attentive and the food first class. While not inexpensive, we felt that it was money well spent, given a full itinerary during the day - the hotel provided a good respite.

We stayed at this hotel as part of our 8-day tour group package. It was beyond our expectations. The entry and foyer are spectacular and the rooms are very well appointed. The breakfast offerings were fabulous. it reminded me very much of the European breakfasts that we enjoy so much. We ordered room service our first night and it came quickly and the food was hot and very good. The staff was helpful, pleasant and professional.

Beautiful hotel with a stunning foyer. Good location - a short walk from the main square. Good service, if a bit slow and bureaucratic with the check in. Expensive by local standards, actually pretty reasonable for the quality of the hotel. But as with nearly all luxury hotels in the region, while they do physical luxury well you pay through the nose for the luxury experience. Virtually nothing is complementary - USD 10 a day for Wi-Fi in the room, one or more of the bottles of water may be complementary but it isn't clear, early check out times (9am) with step charges for late check outs. Worth it for a treat in a luxury venue, but you'll get more of a luxury 'full experience' at any number of cosier and cheaper boutique hotels

This hotel is very nice and comfortable. The rooms are well furnished and service is generally good. The one challenge here is checking in and checking out. Check in is extremely slow - tough after a long day seeing M.P, then train to Ollanta and drive to Cusco. Same on check out - had to start very early to be able to leave on time for the onward trip. I hope they can address this, it would make this a five star review.

Room Tip: We had a junior suite which was very spacious with 2 baths and a nice space to relax outside of the...

Travelling on a tour and second hotel from this chain used - and yet again let down by the quality of food. Self service buffet served - the food was so cold that it was uneatable when I complained the full plate was just taken away no apology - it was not until I complained to our tour quide was anything done but by then was too late. Rooms very nice

We stayed in Cusco for three nights (not consecutively, as we did a trek in between). The Palacio was fantastic. The hotel is well located to sights in Cusco, and has a wonderful feel. All the staff we dealt with were more than helpful and spoke excellent English. Would easily recommend.
