“Very well located”

We had 2 stays in cusco, both were a great experience. The rooms were lovely and clean, and staff very helpful.. We had to have some oxygen one morning, and it arrived promptly. The meals were lovely, great breakfast. The location was nice and central and safe. Our cup of cocoa tea on arrival was refreshing.

Room Tip: Rooms towards the end of the corridors had better views.

This excellent hotel lets itself down in my view due to its awful wifi. The only time of day it is anything like quick enough is 06:00 to 07:00. If you try at anytime in the afternoon or evening you could boil a kettle before you get any response. Otherwise, a lovely hotel.

Room Tip: Colonial rooms are the best.

Our Colonial Room was large with a super shower, and a bath too. But our night's rest was disturbed at around 4:30am by a group gathering to leave in the atrium below the balcony. Our traveling companions anticipated this problem on arrival and asked for a down-grade to one of the quieter modern rooms at the back of the hotel. Other than that, the hotel is very close to the city centre and a short walk to the main square, sights and museums

Room Tip: Most of the Colonial Rooms are located around the balcony to the atrium which serves as a reception...

I stayed at the Novotel Cusco on a Business trip for 3 nights. The Hotel is overall OK but you should consider the following if you are booking the Novotel:
1. the Hotel has no spa/pool/sauna facilities. If you are coming to Cusco, chances are you go hiking or walking and want to relax in the hotel Spa. The Novotel doesn't have any spa or fitness center.
2. Room service and housekeeping are not available after hours. Tried getting a sandwich at 11pm and was impossible. Equallly, my desk lamp was not working and never managed to get it repaired.
3. Beds are not up to the expectations of an upper end hotel. Mattresses are uncomfortable and give the overall feeling of a cheap bed/linen/duvet/pillows. Dissapointing .
4. Lastly, if you are coming on a business trip, the internet is extremely slow, and there is no option to pay for a speed upgrade.

If you are looking for an upper end hotel in Cusco, I would recommend looking at other options, particularly, the JW.

Enjoyed out stay here alot! the room was so large and great view from balcony! Great shower too!! he staff were super very attentive and Yussell at the front desk went out of her way to help us with a phone call! the Breakfast buffet was good , an omlette station would be a nice addition!
WI FI was fine also. Very close to Plaza de Armas nice walk!

Room Tip: the Colonial room is a must!

We only stayed here one night on the way home from a visit to Machu Picchu. It we had know how nice the hotel was, we would have allowed a couple more days to relax and explore more of Cusco.

The rooms are nice, modern, and clean. We found the real surprise to be the hotel courtyard. With sunlight and a fountain, it was a relaxing place to recover from the trials of travel. This is also where the very generous buffet breakfast can be enjoyed. The options available for breakfast were a pleasant surprise.

The only drawback of the hotel is the narrow street on which it is located. This means any pickup or drop off blocks traffic on a busy road. But as a plus, the hotel is only a five minute walk to the main plaza.
