First night in Cusco hubby and myself took Trip Advisor recommendation to try Inkazuela. It was located across from where we were staying La Casona. The service was attentive. Meals had fantastic tasty and plenty of it. This restaurant was buzzing. The atmosphere with the fire in the corner burning and candles on the table was a perfect way the start our Inca adventure.

Went with a friend for dinner and from the moment we stepped foot in the restaurant we were treated like family. The owners were more than happy to go through every item on the menu to ensure you thoroughly enjoy your meal. We went for the famous Andean cheese and like everyone else on here was very impressed. Both our main meals were also delicious and throughout the whole night the owner was checking in to see how everything was and offer any assistance. I can clearly see why this is ranked number one on here. If you're after value for money, great food and service, then this is a MUST visit when in Cusco.

Sometimes, a great soup or stew with bread can be the best thing you could imagine! Throw in a Cusquena or wine…and a variety of house specialties...and you have a wonderful little restaurant that you can go back to over and over. We did. The owners make you feel at home, the fireplace keeps you warm, and the views onto the little plaza face the sunset. Located a few narrow, cobbled blocks from Cusco’s main plaza, what more could you want?

A real find and worthy of their trip advisor ranking. Inkazuela is a small place, warmly decorated on the square at the end of Palacio, you need to go into a small courtyard and upstairs.

Francisco who served us each time was really lovely and after our final meal we chatted to the chef and lady owner? and loved their passion for the restaurant and great food.

Andean melted cheese and spinach starter was superb and came with lovely fresh bread. The chicken and quinoa soup was amazing. These stood out but the other dishes were good as well.

Stews may not be 'fine dining' but when you want to finish your meal with a warm, well fed glow that comes from great, hearty food and a convivial atmosphere you can't beat Inkazuela. Prices are reasonable as well.
