This place lived up to my expectations. The restaurant is very cozy and features a nice view from its upstairs location. The food is just what I wanted during this cold and rainy season. The bread was fresh and my stew was delicious. It is not cheap, but it is well worth the visit.

While much more casual than many of our stops during our journey, this was clearly one of our favorite meals. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful as was our terrific waiter. Everything we had was outstanding and the atmosphere was casual and rustic, but very sophisticated in its own way. The restaurant is located in a great part of Cusco but far enough off the main tourist drag to feel a bit more local. I highly recommend it!

This little restaurant has a great feel to it - the decor is warm and inviting, the owners are very outgoing and know their food, and the meal was just delicious. The fresh bread, appetizer, soup and main courses were all outstanding. It was the perfect meal to celebrate the end of our Peruvian experience! Inka Zuela is upstairs in one of the most charming plazaz in Cusco, too!

We had a delicious late dinner at this establishement near the Monasterrio Hotel dining on Andean stews. The owners cook and wait on the customers. Total price of our meal for three was about $20. You can't go wrong at this place.

We ate at lunchtime and did hear it best to book in the evening. Lunchtime was fine and there were only two others there when we arrived. We were greeted by a lovely lady who turned out to be the owner and whose husband did the cooking. Apparently a cazuela is a cooking pot for stews and that is what the place specialised in with quite a limited menu. I had a spicy Andean beef stew and my wife a lamb and chicken and bean stew somewhat reminiscent of minestrone. Both were excellent as was the entire experience. Small and unpretentious it delivers fantastic quality and value.
