“awesome food, limited menu”
Reviewed September 26, 2012

the menu is limited and there was only one vegetarian option, however the food was excellent! In general, we found this (i.e. excellent food) to be true for all restaurants in Lima and Cusco, not just the top-ranked ones. It seems hard to go wrong ..

Anyway, Inkazuela is about fresh ingredients, ample portions, very tasty meat and good service. The prices were average for 'touristy' spots in Cusco .. but what really stood out was the cosy decor and location of the restaurant. We had a table with a great view of the square and surrounding hills.

“Best restaurant in Cusco”
Reviewed September 25, 2012 via mobile

Believe what you read here people...this restaurant is the best in town! I enjoyed the Andean cheese and spinage dip: creamy and flavorful with fresh abundant spinage...and you know when a restaurant that serves good bread is gonna be a good one and Inkazuela is no exception...hard and crunchy on the outside md light and flakey on the inside! I made sure to save room for the main course : spicy beef...rich flavorful and a hint of spice not hot but most comforting for the cool atmospher of Cusco...a beautiful meal served by a beautiful soul...could nt have felt more at home...

“Excellent food, excellent prices, best restaurant in town on a cold day”
Reviewed September 23, 2012

If you are looking to get warmed up look no further, as this restaurant specializes in stew-type dishes and has a big adobe fire place in one corner of the restaurant. We were waited on by the owner, who was very knowledgable, interesting, and so friendly. The haunting aroma will lead your right upstairs to this amazing new restaurant. The prices per entree range from S/20-35 and a bottle of wine was half the price it would be at the restaurants on the plaza.

“Utterly incredible food served with an obvious love of entertaining.”
Reviewed September 22, 2012

The interior has womb-like red walls and a lofty ceiling, a fire in the corner and candles on each table create a gentle cosy atmosphere. The lady who served us was quite motherly and smiled so tenderly I got the impression she would have given us a squeeze and patted our hair had it been appropriate.
The food is homely and comforting, the cocktails created with such obvious pride that the owners love of making their guests feel relaxed in a wonderful foodie heaven oozes out of every crack in the authentic woodwork.

“First dinner in Cusco - delicious!”
Reviewed September 21, 2012

Based on tripadvisor reviews we headed to Inkazuela - and were very glad we did! Andean cheese and spinach dip to share for a starter was outstanding. We then ordered what the very friendly waitress suggested - a coconut chicken dish and a shredded beef dish - think very tasty thin stews. Very earthy ambiance - open fire and candles. Tempted to go back for dinner tonight!
