“Excellent value for money in the heart of cusco”

We booked this hotel on Expedia and ended up staying an additional night. On arrival the staff were warm, friendly and welcoming and ensured we settled in quickly. Our room was lovely, very clean, great shower and free wifi. Overall attention to detail was excellent e.g. candles and oil burner was lit as we arrived, hot water bottles delivered each night to warm the bed. The hotel is centrally located with easy access to sights and restaurants. Some noise from other guests can be heard in the central courtyard, but not enough to worry us. The hotel booked our return taxi to the airport which was prompt - we were 2 mins late and arrived to find our bags already packed in the taxi with the hotel staff waiting outside until we arrived. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

We were so thrilled to have a wonderful stay at this small safe hotel a short walk from the Plaza. The staff here was so wonderful and I have nothing but good to say about this little hideaway. A comfortable little courtyard and upper balcony was nice for a reading spot and a cup of tea.

Room Tip: There is only one room with a bath tub, so you would have to very specific if you wanted that room.

We had the best time at this hotel! It is very conveniently located near the main Plaza del Armas, but on a secluded street so it isn't too noisy at night. The beds are SOOO comfy and they put warm water bottles in it at night to heat the bed up for you. We stayed there on our way to Machu Picchu and on our way back so we got to experience two different rooms. They are all unique with a very romantic and charming feel to them. They give you the choice of breakfast on the balcony over looking the whole city, in your room, or in the dining area. The hotel staff was extremely helpful with making accommodations for us, booking our taxi, and helping with general information about the area. They felt like a home away from home by the end of our stay. We VERY highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Cusco!

Booked this place on Expedia. It includes transport to and from the airport with a decent taxi company.

As soon as I arrived the friendly staff sat me down for a cup of coca tea. Breakfast excellent rooms very classic and well decorated.

Free wifi in the hotel and the view from the little terrace is great too.

Location is 2 blocks from the main square. (It's up hill! So take it slow on your first day!)

Few minor things:
Bedside lamp or light switches would be nice.
The little window in my room couldn't open

For the rest an amazing place with comfi beds and impeccable staff.

When we arived for the first time in Cuzco, we were welcomed in a warm and hospitable way with great service from the fantastic staff at Rumi Wasi. The location is great, smack bang in the middle of downtown Cuzco, just a short walk up a small narrow street from the mainsquare. The arcitecture is beautifull, with a old classic colonial feel to it, with a romantic courtyard, small balconys and a great rooftop terrace with stunning wiews of the entire Cuzco area. They serve excelent breakfast and are very helpfull with arranging transport. I would definately recomend Rumi Wasi as the perfect place to stay in cuzco without blowing your budget. Thank you yet again to all the friendly faces at Rumi Wasi for making our stay in Cuzco a memory that we will never forget.

Room Tip: Ask for the doubble room with the private roof terace.

The Rumi Wasi (Stone House) hotel is located in a few minutes from the Plaza de Armas with a number of places you must see in Pisco. The owner and staff are very friendly and professional. Our room was clean and neatly decorated. Bedding was very comfortable. Breakfasts were served at our picked time directly to the room. We had an airport pick-up and drop-off scheduled and provided by hotel with no flaws. They even stored our extra luggage when we were exploring Machu Picchu. We felt like at home! Note. Be careful if you have troubles walking up or down the hill.

This small hotel was really cute and comfortable. Our room had a little balcony that overlooked most of the city and the Plaza de Armas, really lovely. The highlight was really the staff though. They went far above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. They picked us up from the airport, customized a day trip to Machupicchu for us, and arranged a driver for another day. Breakfast was on time to the minute every morning, even at 4:15am one day, and every night, we returned to find chocolates and hot water bottles. We really felt cared for here. There were a few cons (no counter space in the bathroom, a bit of a noisy street), but the service was so excellent, that it more than makes up for any drawbacks.

Room Tip: If you want a quieter room, ask for something away from the street.
