Description: It is the only gourmet restaurant of typical local food. We do not make fusion style. Located in the old palace of the Inca Tupac Yupanqui, we have vegetarian options. In Deva you can found the ancestral cuzco culture through its gastronomy. It is atended by its own owners. We have different Peruvian wines and piscos, and you can enjoy, if you wish so, the traditional "chicha de jora", drink that the Incas offered to the Sun in the Inti Raymi

My wife and I were recently visiting Cusco and came by chance across Deva. It was close to our hotel and to the city centre, in a quet street but with good presentation. A clear Menu was displayed outside and the overall 'look' of the place was inviting.
We were as impressed by the welcome of the staff as by the varied menu. Very informative staff were able to clarify issues on the menu and made clear recommendations which we were happy to follow.

Excellent food and good wine encouraged us back for a second time the following night. This was no less enjoyable.

Both of us would highly recommend this esatblishment..

Best food in town, my wife and I were served by Eddie which provided us with excellent cousin along with historical lectures of the Incas and their heritage. Each dinner was a unique experience. Maria and I are from Puerto Rico, we highly recommend Deva.

My wife and I visited here for our wedding anniversary meal, which occurred whilst in Cusco. We had walked past on a previous evening and noticed it was packed, so decided to give it a go as it advertised its self as providing "Typical Peruvian Food".

We were a little nervous at first as unlike the previous night it was quite empty. However we ventured in and had a truly memorable meal. Whilst waiting for our order we were presented with a selection of tasty starters, including some local cheese which was delicious.

After some discussion with the waiter my wife she ordered baked pork and I chose the Grilled Alpaca tenderloin over three different quinoa.

When the food arrived it was so perfectly cooked. The pork just fell from the bone. The Alpaca was just nicely pink in the middle. Really succulent, tender and tasty.

The only thing I can say against it is that it only offers Peruvian produce, so no Chilean wine, but the ones we choose were perfectly acceptable.

My wife and I celebrated our 36th Anniversary with a dinner at Deva's. The service was simply outstanding, as the other reviews the owner/manager offer a free sample of chicha corn beer. Our fired Cui was prepared to perfection and was complimented with localy grown potatoes and corn. All were delicious. As in other reviews, we were treated with a visti to the kitchen and lesson on just how the qui was marinated and fried. I would heartily recommend this restaurant to someone interested in an authentic peruvian meal

My husband and I went here on our honeymoon. We asked our guide (a native of Cusco) to recommend a good local restaurant to try cuy (guinea pig - a local delicacy). Without hesitating, he sent us to Deva.

The restaurant was beautiful, the food lovely, but what really stuck out in our minds was the attentiveness of the staff. They didn't just bring us chicha beer (a traditionally Peruvian corn beer), but told us about the history of the drink and what it means from a cultural perspective. They did this for all of our food and happily answered any other questions we had.

All in all, wonderful restaurant, great food, but more than that, a very memorable experience.
