“Lima, Cuzco, Machu Picchu Tour”
Reviewed August 16, 2013

We just got back from a tour arranged by Peru Tourism and it was wonderful thanks to Marirose, Condor Travel, the guides, and the drivers. They were always, I say, always on time. The hotel accommodations and transportation were good, the guides well informed, and we just had a wonderful time. If you go to Machu Picchu via OLLANTAYTAMBO and want a sanctuary/retreat spa hotel, I suggest the Inkallpa Hotel. You will rest there as there are no TVs or wifi in the rooms = silent night. You may need it if you are attempting two days at Machu Picchu.

“Vivential Tourism - Patabamba(Cusco)”
Reviewed July 2, 2013

It was a great chance to live real experience in a magical town “Patabamba-Cusco”. Participating in communal activities implies learning about the communal organizational system and assimilating ancestral techniques and customs. My family and friends lived the wonderful experience of being involved in a real community, taken part in their daily lives and eaten the food they do. We consider this tour to be one of the most interesting of our lives.

Journey Experience is a great company to plan your visit to Patabamba, Boris Santos was a wonderful tour guide, and every minute of the trip was enjoyable. Thank you Boris, for your great job!!

“Superior attention even in very adverse situations(Inka Jungle Trail)”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

We took the Inka Jungle Trail tour with Journey experience and their level of service was superior all along our booking process, they were fast and very reliable, our tickets package was very well arranged and our itinerary perfectly explained at the briefing before the start.

Let me now say that the tour was not all honey. There were some logistic errors that need improvement for future sake, punctuality, organization/coordination related issues, and the fact that some groups desires seemed to have priorities over those of other groups or the itinerary planned. Nevertheless, these issues didn't stand on the way of us having a blast in this tour, which is totally recommendable if you are a thrill seeker.

On the other hand, I have to highlight the level of attention provided by Journey experience, during and after the tour. They were trying to be aware of our situation continuously during the tour, and looked for a solution for us to get out of Aguas Calientes when a piece of the mountain crumbled and blocked the train tracks. They managed to get us a reservation in a hotel for that night in case we couldn't get out to Cuzco.

Bralu listened carefully to our opinions on the tour and the fact that we missed rafting due to the coordination failures, so he got us a great tour on the outskirts of Cuzco, which was really awesome. His commitment makes you feel embraced at all times, even when things didn't go exactly as planned, he makes you get the most out of your travel experience, so I am really pleased I chose them to make this tour.

“Peru Tourism”
Reviewed June 19, 2013

We have just returned from a 25-day trip to Peru organized by Peru Tourism. This agency was an excellent choice; we went to many places, on all types of transport, and someone was awaiting our arrival at every destination, and assisted our departures as well. The hotels were good, without exception.

The guides who showed us around were exceptionally well-informed, articulate and pleasant, as well as flexible as to schedules and even adding on an extra visit or two. I would especially like to mention Julio (Lima), Edith (Trujillo), Placido (LakeTiticaca), Victor Hugo (Colca Canyon). The drivers were also dependable and careful. As for the collective excursions, the Wonder Bus from Puno to Cuzco was luxurious, making you almost sorry that the trip had to end; Cruz de Sur buses were also quite comfortable.

I highly recommend this agency to everyone, whether you are Spanish-speaking or English-speaking. They are efficient, they listen to what you want to do, and they will solve unexpected problems that may come up.

Gracias, Marirose,
Carol Carlson

“Fantastic day of activities in The Sacred Valley”
Reviewed May 12, 2013

We had a great time, the team were very professional, fun and shared so much about their culture with us! First of all we drove to Pisac where we were welcomed by a Mamita who taught us how to make delicious empanadas. Afterwards, we drove further into the Valley and stopped to see the traditional way of cooking guinea pigs (we also had a taste!). Then we visited a silver jewellery workshop, we saw how the traditional Chicha (beer made from corn) is made. After a tasty lunch, we met a lady who makes chocolate (once again we were able to taste her amazing chocolate), we also got our hands stuck in to making some pottery! All the locals were so welcoming and it was a privilege to be able to learn about their activities. So refreshing to be able to spend a day doing a different type of tourism: tasting and getting involved in the local communities' lives. Thank you all for a fantastic experience!
