Sometimes a great Italian meal is all you really need in life to make it all better. Roma Mia could not have provided better. The wine was perfect the bruschetta was to die for and the penne arrabbiata was exactly as spicy as it should be. Had a pizza as well...hands down best pizza I have had in a long time. Service was great and the chef was a little love. If you need a home cooked cozy meal this is the spot

We ate here on our first night AFTER the inca trail. We were exhausted and contemplated not going out to eat but we are so glad we did go.

We were the only people in the restaurant but the service was incredibly friendly and the pizza and gnocchi were the best we've eaten.

Definitely the best Italain restaurant we've been to (and we've been to Italy quite a few times!)

I can't recommend enough!

Delicious! Needed a break from traditional Peruvian food- this was amazing! Service was wonderful, the waitress was patient while we tried to order wine in Spanish. The menu had English explanations and the chef came out to ask how our meal was. It was the perfect dining experience in Cusco as we were adjusting to elevation. We also needed food for the train ride the next day, so we ordered a pizza to go. Compared to US standards, I thought our meal was "cheap"...but the quality was superb! Absolutely a MUST if you are in Cusco. Also, the location as stated in another review is wrong. Go up to market square, diagonal from far right corner; go up an alley. You will see Italian color sign- Roma Mia. Walk through a small travel store front, up the stairs to this awesome restaurant!

The best meal I've eaten during our 8 day visit to Cuzco.
The pizza is as close to genuine Italian Ive had in Peru.
À* for service too. The chef was passionate and interested in his customers feedback.

After a week of Peruvian meals we were ready for some Italian and Roma Mia didn't disappoint! Thanks to prior "Trip Advisors" for great reviews to tip us off to this gem!

Don't be fooled by the location...this is a very comfortable, clean and casual place for great Italian made by Italians. Our group of 8 loved all the dishes we ordered. I ordered the spaghetti bolognese and it might be the best I have ever had. The pizzas were spectacular with perfect thin crust cooked in a wood fired stone oven. The potato one was preferred by the adults and Hawaiian by the kids. We had a couple of decent Italian red wines too at reasonable prices.

The service was first class. The chef checked in to make sure we were happy with our meals...a touch I always appreciate.

Probably the best restaurant meal we had in Peru and the only one to get a Trip Advisor review from me.

PS the map location shown on Trip Advisor is incorrect. The address is correct. The restaurant is located in an alley just off the plaza square.
