“Great food”
Reviewed March 10, 2014 via mobile

This restaurant has fantastic food. We had the fillet mignon with pork and the alpaca bourguignon. It is amazing the food they can prepare in such a tiny kitchen. The best dining experience we had in our seven days in Cusco.

“The set menu is great value”
Reviewed March 27, 2013

I've been living in and out of Cusco since 2011 and I remember when this place used to be located in the corner of the plazoleta San Blas - when it was actually more like a caverne. Their new location isn't as novel but the food is the same. Great value and great quality. For 10s you get a really good menu del dia (which is always pretty much the same but always consistently good). You get an app, a soup, a main, and a dessert. I've tried other set menus in town and I always end up coming back here. The food is always fresh. Nothing fancy but always good.

“Cozy, Cute and Tasty”
Reviewed September 7, 2012

We dropped in here the first time for a drink in the late afternoon and, after glancing over the menu, decided that we'd have to come back again when we were ready for a meal.

A couple of days later we made it back again and it was well worth the effort. The place is tiny, probably seating a maximum of 15 or so, and I have no idea how they turn out such delicious food from such a tiny kitchen. As you step through the front door you're already right in the middle of it! Heading upstairs takes you to the simple but cute and clean dining room, with nice views over Cusco through the windows.

The menu is French influenced, but integrating local ingredients like Alpaca and Quinoa. We opted for the alpaca cous cous and lomo fino and both were delicious; the cous cous was surprisingly authentic (we've recently been to Morocco) and the flavour of the lomo fino, wrapped in bacon, was rich and intense.

Unfortunately we didn't have any space left for desert, which also sounded great.
