Owner description: Welcome to "Andean Lodges". Under the protection of the awesome Ausangate Mountain (20,945 ft. 6,384 m) located in the Cordillera Vilcanota, 3 hours southeast from Cusco, we have built four eco-friendly Lodges, in an exclusive trekking route that is managed with high-quality standards, in partnership with the indigenous communities.

We did an ausangate lodge to lodge hike in June with David and Yuriy as our guides. This is an absolutely amazing experience. All aspects of the trip--acclimatization in Cuzco, visit to Machu Picchu, the hike itself were perfect. I hope and prey that we are lucky enough to do more hikes and climbs with Andean Lodges! Our special thanks to Franco Delgado and David!

Thank siberiany

As everybody has said, the views are unbelievable, the trip is a once in a lifetime experience, but where Andean Lodges truly excels is at service. From the first email contact with Franco to the last goodbye from the guide/chef/wrangler/etc, EVERY step of the way your comfort and happiness is clearly the number 1 priority of every person you come in contact with. The attention to detail from the water bottles and chocolates on your pillow at night, to the million little unnecessary but very much appreciated surprises along the way, shows they really put customer satisfaction first. Chef Nico is a GENIUS in the kitchen, David was an amazing guide/doctor/historian/etc, the entire crew couldn't have been better. Altitude sickness is the only concern here, but it was worth it - bring a lot of ibuprofen/asprin/diamox/whatever. Also regarding the review from last week, our last night (which was right around when the review was written) they actually did heat up plates on top of the fireplace, so I think they took the advise.
