Description: ALMUERZO BUFFET VEGETARIANO DE LUNES A SABADO A SOLO 10-15 SOLES($4) INCREIBLEEEE Restaurant Aldea Yanapay provides delicious Peruvian ,italian ,marroqui, thailand indu food (with some European favourites) in an unforgettable and unique setting. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the resturant regularly holds music . As well as good food and service, the resturant has the added satisfaction of allowing you to help others whilst enjoying yourself as all profits from the restaurant go towards the financing of Aldea Yanapay's social projects. As such, the restautrant is run with the same care and honest socio economic outlook as the social projects. Thus all employees recieve a fair salary and social benefits, taxes are paid and peruvian products favoured.

Eat here! Even if you just go in for a milkshake. Take a break from the hubbub of Cusco and have a nice place to sit and eat. Go on a Monday night to play games and donate money to the fantastic program for children, also called Aldea Yanapay.

Wanting something cheerful and close to our hotel I looked on Tripadvisor and was interested in the reviews for this restaurant. We really liked the Peruvian dishes we had. They were very generous servings. We were the only people there for a while but that didn't matter as the staff are friendly.

This place was magical. The decor was arty/playful/funky and really cosy. We found out that this restaurant supports a great social project in the Cusco area for kids, so we were there already thinking the cause is nice it doesn't matter how is the food, but we were really surprised when this amazing dishes came out and then the dessert where just great to have.
You have to go there while in Cusco!

It was a good choice while walking down the street at lunch time.
Climbed the stairs and found a very interesting place.
It's part of a project of helping poor children.
The food is great, specially the soups. I would point out a dish...Trout on a coffee sauce with spinach purée and figs.
Not to be there for a meal on the rush. Cusco is not for anxious and impatients although most of the tourist I've noticed in the city, are.

We were in Cusco for three days and went to this restaurant twice. We stumbled upon it when we saw its sign on the sidewalk. We headed up the stairs and entered into a warm, arty atmosphere that was a refreshing change from so many tourist-oriented restaurants in Cusco. We're vegetarian and there were a few good choices including excellent soups. The tomato soup was especially fresh and flavorful. And I would be tempted to go back to Cusco just to have that outrageously good hot chocolate again! We don't have kids, but it's a great restaurant for families that were dining there given the wild assortment of hats that are available to try on while you dine.
