Description: ALMUERZO BUFFET VEGETARIANO DE LUNES A SABADO A SOLO 10-15 SOLES($4) INCREIBLEEEE Restaurant Aldea Yanapay provides delicious Peruvian ,italian ,marroqui, thailand indu food (with some European favourites) in an unforgettable and unique setting. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the resturant regularly holds music . As well as good food and service, the resturant has the added satisfaction of allowing you to help others whilst enjoying yourself as all profits from the restaurant go towards the financing of Aldea Yanapay's social projects. As such, the restautrant is run with the same care and honest socio economic outlook as the social projects. Thus all employees recieve a fair salary and social benefits, taxes are paid and peruvian products favoured.

“Oh so tasty”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 12, 2012

Great restaurant -- smoothies, snacks, sandwiches, cervezas, meals, the menu is extensive and varied. There are tons of healthy and fun options, and the vibe of the restaurant, cozy and wacky and vibrant yet mature and tastefully restrained in a Roald Dahlian sort of way, is an honest treat. Whether going for a coffee or a meal, don't miss the legitimately impressive eats and an atmosphere unparalleled in Cusco. (Oh, and if that's not enough, proceeds generated by the restaurant are pumped backed into the community, as the restaurant is the monetary engine of Cusco's laudable Aldea Yanapay organization.)

“amazing place!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 12, 2012

I loved how the place looked like a childs dream, with the menu formed as fairytales, big hats for all guests, child tables and a lot of atmosphere.

But the best part is that you support the a good cause - the villages for children (http://yanapay.facipub.com)

“Possibly fun for kids - not so much for adults”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 5, 2012

The ambiance of this restaurant is clearly aimed at kids - toys, games, hats and kids books are everywhere. The menu has a kids section, the first of which I've seen in Cusco. But the rest of the menu is enormous (including an odd combination of items like falafel, Indian curry, Italian pastas and sushi), which tells me they offer everything and specialize in nothing. Our food was decent, but certainly not worth the high prices - at least you can feel better knowing that some of it goes to a good cause. Service was very slow. Possibly a good spot for families, but if you are without children I'd go somewhere else.

“Great food & great cause”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 8, 2012

Very family-friendly restaurant that supports programs for street children. Our kids loved the decor, and we all loved the food. It was the only restaurant in Perú that we ate at twice.

“Creepy Environment”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 2, 2012

It was almost as if I stepped into a children's bedroom, only over the top. The wait staff were also dressed up as dolls in a child's dream. Although I've heard the food is good, and goes to support a good cause, I simply ordered a coffee as I environment didn't agree with me. It was like a colorful cross between Disney and Tim Burton.
