“Impeccable Appointment and Service”
Reviewed January 22, 2014

This hotel is beautifully decorated with period antiques. My room was large and included a spacious, state of the art, well-stocked bathroom. A huge plus was the oxygen that is automatically pumped into the room (similar to an air conditioning or heating system). The breakfast buffet was ample, varied, fresh, and delicious. Service was incomparable, especially the reception personnel, including Mr. José and Mr. Jaime. I was supplied oxygen when I had trouble breathing in the lobby.
I hope to return for another fine stay.

We just got back from a 4 night stay at the Aranwa Cusco Boutique Hotel in the heart of Cusco. We are a family of four and booked two rooms. The hotel is very well located and within steps from the Plaza de Armas and nearby restaurants. The service was exceptional, excellent and genuine from the heart. Rommy and Karen were like family and genuinely concerned that we had a great stay. The 1st day my wife had trouble breathing due to the high altitude therefore Rommy and Jose Luis brought her an oxygen tank(at no charge, which some other hotels in Cusco do) and she felt so much better. The WI Fis is free although they had some problems at first but was fixed. The breakfast was included and was very complete and fresh. The decor was beautiful, very airy, not stuffy. Artwork all over the hotel. All in all it was one of the very best and complete experiences we had during our stay in Cusco. The New Year,s Eve Dinner was excellent although pricey, which is the case of most upscale Cusco restaurants during that date, and make you pay upfront which with the hotel´s restaurant did not apply, you paid after being served. The bar was excellent and the bartender was a true mixologist he made a concoction or a punch for my head cold which made me feel better. I highly recommend this hotel for a true, genuine, excellent service.

Our family had a wonderful vacation in Cusco and the Aranwa contributed heavily to the trip. Great service, great people, and a location that was a stone's throw away from Plaza de Aramas and Plaza Regocijo. The rooms are excellent. The art work in the rooms and public areas add to the charm of this hotel. If there are any issues at all I would say that this hotel needs to improve on both its breakfast (menu is fairly redundant and we stayed for four days and other than a different potato-based item every day, the menu did not change) and dinner (we ordered room service and the quality of the food was far from what we expected for a 4/5 star hotel). Cusco has wonderful restaurants and there are tons of places to try out. We did not see many people having dinner at the hotel though. Improve on the quality of the food and this hotel will stack up right there as one of the top two or three hotels in Cusco.

Elegant hotel with superb staff in the heart of Cusco. We left some cash in the safe before departing for a trip to Machu Picchu. It was waiting for us when we returned. The staff was very helpful and unintrusive. Breakfast was great--eggs al gusto.

The service is exactly what you would expect from a luxury boutique hotel - impeccable! The location is outstanding - just a few blocks from the Plaza de Armas. The rooms are opulent with every amenity that you could need. The breakfast is great - wide selection, cooked-to-order eggs - prefect to fuel up for long days of sightseeing.

Room Tip: We had a first floor room and the windows were very small. However, we were also in a deluxe room so...
