We loved this place! It's a beautiful colonial hotel nestled in the heart of Cusco. The wonderful (oxygenated) room are lovely with antique furniture and very comfortable beds. Very clean. Modern bathrooms. We ate dinner twice at the hotel -- it was that good. The service overall was very attentive; the wait staff in the restaurant was delightful, informative and very attentive as well. We would highly recommend this hotel and its sister hotel in Sacred Valley.

Room Tip: The two rooms we had were both wonderful. Our kids shared a large roomw ith two queens; we shared...

This is a fabulous private location in the heart of Cusco. Incredibly convenient to shopping, restaurants, entertainment, transportation, etc. What pleased me most was the friendliness and courtesy of the staff, especially the front desk and the concierge. Rooms are clean and quiet.

A unique building with lots of nooks and seating areas. Our room was across from a waterfall with goldfish. It was a bit small, but had a huge four post bed. The bathroom was great with a slipper tub and four jet separate shower. The included breakfast was excellent with eggs cooked to order. It is located within a few blocks of the main square so good access to attractions, bars and restaurants. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful and the barman makes a mean martini.

The hotel is greatly located, on a quiet street two blocks from the main square in Cusco (Plaza de Armas). Other nice perks: good-size rooms with high ceilings and skylights (stayed in #202), oxygenated rooms, high-end bathrooms with heated floors, decent (if not exceptional) service. Interior design is not for everyone: while some things work (eg nice, off-center crystal chandelier in the bedroom) the mix of styles in the hotel common areas is sometimes iffy. Wifi connection did not work in the rooms, only in the common areas. Good overall experience although the city has other very good options albeit more pricey.

This is a great hotel located in a great location, just a few steps away from Plaza Regocijo, the plaza next to the main plaza (Plaza de Armas). The customer service her was excellent and the rooms were nice. My favourite thing about this hotel were the heated bathroom floors! This was very nice indeed especially when coming in from the freezing cold. They also had hydrotherapy showers, so you could get a massage shower, which was luxurious but a little difficult to use (even after explanation). Something I didnt like too much was the wifi coverage - sometimes it would work and others it wouldnt. You would expect it to work pretty well at all times at a top class hotel. Another thing that I think could have improved was the breakfast. There was an ok selection, but nothing that made me realise that I was in a top class hotel. The breakfast was average, but the staff provided great service. The rooms are also oxygenated and you are supposed to feel like you are at sea level when you are in the room, which would be useful for those who are afraid of altitude sickness. Overall a lovely hotel, but a few tiny improvements could be done.

This hotel gave the best service (only second to the service they give at their Sacred Valley Hotel). Their location is hard to beat. I felt like i was staying in someone's wonderful spanish influenced castle /home - the personalised service was amazing and the restaurant and Chef has trained under the best - you have to eat in their restaurant !!!
The oxygen in the rooms really helped sleep at night
it is such a classy hotel
i loved the heated bathroom floor tiles that you can control the temperature
and finally a hotel with coffee making facilities in your room and decent coffee!
the amazing decor of the rooms and of the hotel corridors
I was on the bottom floor and did not experience any noise whatsoever
my bathroom was huge and was definate not awkward - would love to know where some of these other travellers normally stay or comparing this too
i really do not think you can fault this hotel at all and i am a professional travel agent whom travels around comparing alot of hotels
this is truly one of the best
i will be returning to stay here

My wife and I stayed at the Aranwa hotel in Cusco. It is located close to the cental plaza of Cusco so everything was an easy walk as soon as you adjust to the high altitude of the city. The staff members were great. Many of them went out of their way to help both of us out.
The hotel itself was very classy. Every room had amazin decor.
