Fabulous hotel! Our room was a suite - spectacular! Heated floors, oxygen infused (to help with altitude) wonderful sheets, baby lama rugs next to the bed - no detail overlooked!

The location is excellent - service outstanding.

They knew our families name quickly and were friendly and helpful. It's a great place.

Only area for improvement could be breakfast selection... a little lackluster....but other than that - Fabulous!

Highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed here the night before we left on our Inca Trail Trek. I had done extensive research about hotels in the Cusco area as we wanted something in the luxury category but also very central to the main plaza.

We were extremely happy with Aranwa. The staff was attentive, the room was very comfortable, the bathroom floor was heated ( added bonus).

On top of that the hotel was very nicely decorated and had a lot of history. At night it was pretty quiet and the main restaurant offered inside and outside dining.

I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: we chose the least expensive room and were very satisfied with the space and quality it provided.

My partner and I stayed a couple of nights in the Aranwa Cusco hotel. We very much enjoyed our stay. The hotel is located in a renovated old house with pleasant courtyards surrounded by rooms. Although the decor - El Padron on Acid - was not quite to my taste, our room was very comfortable and quiet. The staff was uniformly attentive, friendly, and helpful. All the desk and dining staff spoke good English (a bit of a problem actually, as it made it easy not to practice my Spanish). Although I have not stayed at the Monasterio, from looking at the place and considering the significant price difference, the Aranwa would seem the better choice. Room hint: If you need or don't mind two beds, Room 204 has a window and is quiet and away from street noise.

Room Tip: Room 204 is a quiet corner room with a window.

I love the decoration of this hotel. Chandeliers, furnitures, and colors are just amazing. Service: spectacular! When we arrived, we were escorted to a lounge to check in. No lines or counter to deal with. Luggages taken, tea offered, and paper work handled. We stayed in room 214. The room was big and the bathroom is out of this world. A heated towel rack, heated tile floor, and big jacuzzi bath tub. The room also has an oxygen system to help with our altitude sickness! We had dinner at the restaurant. The pork adobo was very tasty and cooked shrimp ceviche was good too. The pasta with ham and mushroom was not too good. Buffet breakfast had a lot of variety. We are comparing this place to Libertador (Cusco) and Inkaterra (Agua Caliente) and JW Marriott (Lima), where we also stayed at during this trip. This hotel is best in value, best room, and best decoration. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends/family.

We stayed here both before and after our trip to Machu Picchu, and it was a perfect choice. Our room was beautiful, with a sitting room in the front, high ceilings and beautiful architectural details. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was average, but the atmosphere was cozy. Most importantly, this is one of the best locations in Cusco for touring - you won't be disappointed.

The Aranwa Cusco is a perfect hotel in every way. The staff is wonderful, very friendly and professional. The room was imaculate, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was large with a great soaking tub, heated floor and great shower. There is a "pillow menu" to help you choose the perfect pillow for you.

The hotel is a little pricey compared to others in Cusco but the stay is fabulous. The complimentary breakfast is probably the best I have had at a hotel. Plenty of choices especially local/regional offerings prepared to perfection. Free WiFi is always a plus and it worked well.

The location is only a block or two from the main square and shopping. The hotel arranged taxis whenever we needed and they were always on time.

The hotel has a spa on site but we didn't have the time to use their services.

I will definitely stay there again when back in Cusco.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the back/service door. During the day the outside noise can be a little bo...
