A comfortable hotel located a nice walk from the main square. The Indian markets and the other direction and close. This was a good place to stay with very accommodating staff. The rooms were a reasonable size with good street soundproofing. Breakfast was good and included in the package. We spent 3 days in total, 2 days, off to the jungle and back for one day. Best described as value for money and a bit more.
Be careful of the high bath. It's a big step down.

Room Tip: Choose the back rooms

Clean rooms, HOT shower, Our room had nice view. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere.
About 1km from Plaza de Arms but it was a easy walk past The Temple of the Sun, Museums, Craft markets, coffee shops, ATM's. Plus,we liked being away from the crowd. Close to several museums and handcraft markets. The easiest way to get back to the hotel is to tell the taxi driver to take you to "Ave Del Sol Servicio Postal." That is the main post office across the alley from the hotel. ALL the drivers knew where the post office was and it is on most city maps so we always got back to the same place. Breakfast is good.

Very clean hotel, they really do an effort on it. The staff is very friendly, and is ready to help. The hotel is located near Qoricancha, handcraft market, an close by to super markets, and restaurants, the bad news is that it is about 15-20 minutes walk from Paza de Armas, but it could be solved using a taxi for $1.5.
We've got an interior room overlooking the stairs so it was dark an noisy, the hotel was full so there was no possibility to change. However our friends got an exterior room ant their experience was quite different.
I'd recommend staying in the city center

Friendly staff, very quiet hotel, away from the noisy Cusco historic center. Staff was helpfull and stored some of our luggage when we went to Macchu Picchu.
Good hotel, but we would recommend something in the historic center.
The not so good part is the location, 20 minutes walk from Plaza de Armas, further than we were expecting.
The heating system was not working (the hotel was empty so the heating was turned off, and the hotel gave us a small oil heater).
The photos of the hotel are also a bit misleading.

We stayed there 2 nights,on our trip to Machu Picchu. Its in a quiet neighborhood. The innkeeper lets you in and out of the front door. The breakfast was good. The rooms were clean and basic. It had a great tv selection.

Room Tip: Peru is very thirld world.Be careful of the food.Women arent very visible,or seem alloed to drive.Lima is big, polluted and way too crowded.
