A friend suggested this place to me. Although he couldn't recall the name, he described where it was located. Since this was my second trip to Cusco, I was kind of familiar with the Cuesta de San Blas street and luckily for me, I found it.
Just as he described; tiny hole in the wall, easy to miss, but the food was as awesome as my friend implied. I ate here the two nights I stayed in Cusco. Both times I had the chicken soup and filet mignon smothered in mushroom sauce. The filet melted in my mouth, it was that tender! The second time I was there, I was the only person, but soon after the small restaurant was completely filled. It is off the grid from the heavily touted tourist track, but apparently well known to the locals. It is owned by a local family. If I ever get a chance to go back to Cusco, this will be the only place I eat. Do not pass by this incredible little restaurant! It will be your loss.
