Stayed for a couple of nights. Service was great, the staff very helpful and accommodating. My room was much larger then I had expected and everything was kept very clean. Would definitely recommend the Unaytambo.

A charming hotel in a great location! The rooms were spacious, clean and lovely. The staff was so friendly and helpful, even helped us get our laundry done in just a few hours to be ready for our next adventure. We could not have asked for anything more. We will definately stay here again.

Our stay here in was a pure delight. From our first cup to tea, all our needs were met
with a smile. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The breakfast was bountifull.Coca tea available round the clock. Location perfect. This hotel is a jewel and as experienced travellers we rate this as one of our favorites.

This hotel is very unique and charming (including Inca stonework and some impressive doorways) and the staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. We were 2 families - one with 2 teenagers and one with 2 young children. Each family had a spacious room with beds for 4 people. We stayed at Unaytambo 2 nights at the beginning of our trip and 2 nights at the end. After our travels we were all excited to get back to the Unaytambo with it's beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, nice breakfast (they will gladly make eggs for you) and best of all lovely staff. We will definitely stay here again if we make it back to Cusco!

PROS
1- Location. Less that 5 minutes from Plaza de Armas.
2- Clean
3- Charming, unique looking rooms
4- Pleasant, helpfull staff

CONS
1- Breakfast very basic. But glad that I had the option to order an omellete which a very plesant lady was gladly to make for me. And it was delicious
2-NOT for solo travellers and not open to you bringing company at night...well not without paying extra ($25/night extra). I thought that was a bit shady. Security rule I was quoted. But other hotels just take down your guest's info and check ID for security

Bottom line. Very good place to stay while in Cusco, highly recommended but NOT for single travellers (gay or straight) if you want to have a guest over for the night
