My boyfriend and I went there for a weekend and it was amazing. Beautiful place, just 30 minutes outside of the city, in the south valley. We had a great, relaxing time; it was like staying in a family owned villa. We stayed in a bungalow, with our own fire place, the food is amazing, the landscape is breathtaking and you have the choice to rest and enjoy the place or do some fun activities. The hotel have horses and bikes and organized walks to diverse places. It is nice to be away from the crowded touristy sites of Cuzco, and this area also has a lot of hidden gems. If you go there for several days, I strongly recommend visiting Pikillacta (Wari culture huge ruins) and do at least one of their horse rides (there's 2 or 3 to chose from). They also have some spiritual tours, because the town of Huasao is famous for its big shaman community. On top of all these great advantages, the hotel chain social philosophy is great, so I strongly recommend you go there at least once.
